Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise Of The Dragons

Great game, fun, challenging and the roster of characters is amazing. Not as huge as DD4 but its growing ever so good. The story is short and could benefit from a bit more. Maybe more gangs and locals. I have notice a issue with Abore walking animation at the end it skips a frame. Other than that the new characters are great and am so looking forward to the next ones to come. Really hoping for a certain Sumo and Gi wearing boss lol

One of the Best 2 player co op beatem-up that I've ever played. Combos are satisfying, and characters are unique enough that you'll enjoy trying out each one

I can't believe this game sold so little on Steam. It's genuine beat'em up fun of the highest order. Not all characters are as much fun to play with as the Lee brothers and their cousin, but those three are amazing. I have not tried the two new characters added recently, so can't comment on them. If you like beautifully designed, modern - retro beat'em up games with improved fight mechanics, Double Dragon Gaiden: Rise of the Dragons is a must buy.

says Coop online, but we've tried everything - can't connect to friends at all..with codes, with everything - nothing works, so 0/10 :'( but the game looks fun...

i thought i would like this game, but it's not fun at all. i get the feeling that i don't understand what kind of game it's supposed to be. i don't think it explains some of the basic mechanics very well, or maybe i'm just stupid. i played through the first few levels and beat a couple of the bosses, but eventually i ran out of money and could not continue. and then apparently it erased my progress and now i have to beat those same levels over again? sorry but i'm not doing that. imagine my surprise to discover that this game is a roguelike or whatever, instead of the normal side-scrolling beat-em-up game that i naturally assumed it was. also upon reading some other reviews, i just now learned that you can switch between characters whenever you want? i was not playing it that way, i just figured you played as one character until they died and then the other character came in. i guess i'm incredibly stupid because none of that seemed intuitive to me. i feel like i wasted two hours and completely misunderstood what the goal of the game was. maybe i just missed something, but if i can play the game wrong for two hours without realizing it, i think there might be a problem with the presentation.
