Overall everyone calls this a 7/10 game and I would agree. Combat is pretty good although it gets repetitive by the end but I wasn’t playing on the hardest difficulty so that’s probably some of it. Graphics-wise it’s pretty ass but Falcom has a $10 budget so what u gunna do. The character portraits and hand drawn stuff is pretty good though. Story wise it does that ys ix kinda beat (i know this game came first stfu) where each chapter introduces a new party member who gets their time in the spotlight then is somewhat cast aside to their respective anime trope for the rest of the game. I don’t dislike the cast (except yuuki) and if you don’t mind the tropes it’s fine (except yuuki). The overarching plot is a bit meandering but gets interesting at the end, although the normal ending is better than the true ending (real ones know) but they have a decent cliffhanger so I’ll probably buy the next game. Best part of the game is the music, but this is a Falcom game so what did you expect. Hazy Moon is a peak Falcom track. If you want Persona at home this game is pretty similar. I beat it in just over 40 hours so it’s a pretty good length without being overly long. I’d buy on sale or if you really want more Personaesque gameplay. IS THIS GAME A CUT ABOVE: no but it does try. Except the music is definitely a cut above
