Siege Survival: Gloria Victis

Game is generally OK. There is a high amount of resource management within the game, it's the main point of the game I'd say. Similar to "This War of Mine". If you enjoyed it, you will most likely enjoy this game too.

A bit of an underdog in the resource management genre. A few things to note: 1.) You will always need to plan ahead (resources are scarce and the stakes are always high) 2.) You MUST balance everything. You need enough food not just for you but also the soldiers keeping the castle up. Enough weapons, enough raw material generation, enough to keep above the thin line you have between control and falling apart. 3.) No matter how tempted, DO NOT EAT RAW MEAT or RAW EGGS. Its so easy to get sick and sickness means using precious resources for medicine. (Those herbs can feed the animals that produce food and needed material for a garden plot). The setting itself is perfect to make you understand just how dire this situation is. The city is completely overrun and who knows if and when help arrives. This is pure survival. Overall, I really enjoy this game, it very much hits all the points I need it too. I will note the UI is clunky and sometimes you accidentally run instead of sneak quietly which is annoying.
