Firmament Wars

I have several 4x strategy games but sometimes you just need a quick fix; something that requires some strategy yet can be played out in about 15-20 minutes. IMO this game is very well priced and worth every penny. Definitely a game I will return to often when I do not have several hours to play.

This is quite a lot of fun. I recommend reading the instructions on "How to play first". The game can move quickly and the lower levels can lull you into thinking that this is more like a 4x strat game but you forget that it is real time. It would be super awesome to be able to import your own flag and maybe earn skills that change game play over time. I feel like there is a lot this came can be and yet it is also simple to jump in and play. Thanks for the great game!

A great multiplayer game perfect for competing together among friends (or solo against the computer). Games are fast and last about 15 minutes. Takes the foundation of Risk's gameplay and transforms it into a fast-paced real-time 4X format. While the gameplay is in the style of Risk, this games features take it way beyond it by adding variety of more in depth features you would expect to see in strategy games: tech tree, defensive structures, weapons, etc Overall a fantastic game thats well thought out and implemented. I was pleasantly surprised how polished this game was and did not notice any bugs during my game sessions. I would highly recommend to anyone interested in strategy or board games. Looking forward to seeing more from this developer.

Full screen doesn't work. For some reason this game requires more resources and runs slower than modern 3D games. Other than that - it's an OK version of Risk.

Very simple and easy strategy game that is surprisingly addictive. I love strategy games, and one of FW's appeals is how quickly you can jump in to the game and accomplish a lot. This game is the kind of game I can play during a quick break from work and feel satisfied with my progress. Also can't complain about the price. Only wish there was a way to pause the game when playing offline, and also wish there were more single country maps as well.

O jogo é viciante, mas eu só estou mandando essa review por causa de crash nos servidores, nós jogamos do Brasil, não sei se tem alguma interferência nos servidores porque nós não jogamos lagados, mas ainda sim o servidor crasha no meio da partida, se puder resolver isso, nós agradeçemos!

This game is really fun and I put more time on the web based version than on this version. Im happy it's on steam but it needs more players playing online desperately. I enjoy the singleplayer and would love to branch out to multiplayer. It's very interesting how deep this game is but it would be more helpful to display more icons or whatever to see what the great people do and such. Overall I highly suggest picking up this game and giving it a try if you like games such as risk but what a more in depth experience!

A nice strategy game that's simplistic and quick fills a niche where you want to play strat game, but not forever, as well as being easy to learn, the only issue is near Taiwan the island Asian territories, they require multiple clicks to get onto at which the enemy may have already attacked. Extremly worth the price.

Risk in real time, works astonishingly well. Things i'd like to see added: -a feature like in Aoe2 where you can propose and join an alliance with another player -stable netcode -a preview screen for the maps in the menu -more science weapons in between the (cheap) missile and the atomic bomb Keep it up, great game!

No tutorial, claims to be just like risk but commands do not do what they are supposed to do. No matter what I tried to do all I kept getting was two different messages: "cannot build this here" and "you do not control this tile" or a buzzer sound when nothing happened. DO NOT WAIST YOUR TIME ON THIS JUNK!!!!!

Needs a tutorial, I have absolutely no idea how to play... Other than that, graphics and gameplay are good and there aren't many bugs.

After my first play through of the game, I find it interesting say the least from playing Risk style. This is more my taste of gameplay, everything happens all at once and you have afew abilites to select from to maintain the overall balance of the game. The game is fun. I recommend this game to everyone to try the freezing is no longer there. The game can use more content, better grahpics on the flags, something more appealing, like the creation of our own flag or something of that nature to repsent us not a world nation. Other than that, I find the game awesome, worth buying!

No depth or originality. A bad copy of a decades old game, Risk. What a wasted opportunity.

Could be a cool game but I don´t like that the AI cheats in Juggernaut mode... also: Why don´t continents give bonuses? Or is that just not clearly outlined?

dont buy if you dont have friends to play with, singleplayer is too easy to master
