I enjoyed Cold Vengeance and I'll still buy Thunder Kid, but this one was not good. Hard to play, clunky controls, irritating camera placement because objects often obscure vision. If there's more than 20 mins play time, the rest is card idling.

I have trouble seeing as to why this has a 92% rating. I do understand that this is ment to be a very retro style game but your looking at about 2-3 hours of true game play for a low quality game that also is at a wopping 8$. I honestly don't see this possibly being worth that extreme amount. The other issue is that the general difficulty comes from the robotic minibosses (accept for the levels where there arent any) in which all other enemies (accept for superweapons) have a tendency to become absolete. Finally, the only other good take away from this is the fact that i did not run into any major bugs with this game. But over all this game seems to simply be overpriced.

A very fun twin-stick shooter, with an interesting visual style. The gameplay is solid, with a good gameplay loop and relatively unpunishing deaths. I've played about half of the game so far, and I'm certainly going to finish it, and try for all of the hidden achievements.

Fast, fun, pulpy. This is an honest, distilled experience that will have you asking why more games aren't 30 MB downloads. I will buy more Renegade Sector Games titles.

Definitely one of the more unique game designs from Renegade Sector. Kill the Superweapon takes a twin-stick shooter, puts it in a dungeon diorama, and tasks the player with finding their way through the interconnected rooms until they've collected batteries to charge their superweapon and finally enable them to take down the boss that's been chasing them all the while. It has all the hallmarks of Renegade Sector games - tight controls, bright, crisp visuals, thoughtfully pulp gameplay - with a puzzly spin. Buy the bundle.

It's like a horror game where you're constantly being chased except with a campy sci-fi skin over the top. I admit I've never been fond of any kind of 3d platforming (I die more from pits than I do bullets), but the "puzzle rush" concept of the game has me interested. I'd like to see speedruns of this game.

The game has a neat concept with the bosses chasing you across levels, the gameplay itself is easy to pick up, and that's really all I can say. I enjoyed it.

This is a fantastic take on the smash tv/robotron twin stick shooter kind of genre. While it is like those games it also feels very original, and I find it really fresh and interesting. In the game you move freely through the rooms in each level, finding keycards to access locked rooms, and finding enough batteries to charge up your lazer that can do damage to the bosses. Each of the rooms are filled with different types of enemies, that tend to spew a lot of bullets at you in a bullet hell kind of fashion. The individual rooms also have cool designs with platforms and multiple floors. While you move through the rooms you are also being hunted by the level boss. You can see the boss on your map and need to use this to your advantage to avoid it while you hunt down ammunition for your boss killing lazer. The boss designs are awesome , I find each one very unique and I like the way they talk to you while they hunt you down. All in all while this has a retro look and feel, even if thats not your thing I think the gameplay in this is worth trying it out , it is very original and shouldnt be over looked. There is tons of character in the look and design of the whole game, it is all very well done you can tell how passionate the creator is about their work.

The first thing that stands out about Kill the Superweapon is its appearance. That low-poly diorama style is really cool. On top of that, the game is really fun as well. Moving and shooting feels really good, and the sound effects and music work really well with the style. The hook of the game is that the bosses chase you, and the tension ramps up a lot as you run room to room while being pursued by a difficult enemy. As you learn the levels, you can find better rooms to fight the boss in. All in all, it is a really cool and satisfying game.
