Shadow Warrior 2 - Soundtrack

This is not a complete soundtrack to Shadow Warrior 2. It does not include enough of the creepy, ambient non-action music which plays during missions when combat is not happening. It focusses on the action music which you get when fighting monsters and on the game's main themes during plot-critical times. A lot of the ambient stuff which plays before and after you fight monsters (during the times when you are just looking around or gathering loot in places like Shadow Hills or Calamity Town or Zilla City) is not included and that was some of the best music in the game. There's two or three tracks in particular I am remembering but there's probably even more than that missing from this soundtrack. I know there's a nifty ambient song which sometimes plays in Shadow Hills and 1 or 2 others which play in Zilla City that are definitely not on this soundtrack. Disappointing. The sound quality is good but soundtracks should be complete and this one isn't. If I remember correctly, I'd estimate that only half of the game's ambient/peaceful music has been included, at best.

No "The Touch". No "Warrior". If you don't include either of the Stan Bush tracks (especially the final boss track written specifically for this game as a "The Touch" homage) why bother?

Already had the game, just purchase the rest of the bundle to get the soundtrack but.... I cant even find the soundtrack? And the bundle is just one PDF file. WTF? I spent money on something that isn't even here?!

Awesome but incomplete soundtrack, not downloadable since the year 2022 for some reason. Sad but true. I'll be happy to change the review to positive if the devs bring back the MP3/FLAC files.

SOUNDTRACK IS GONE AND CAN'T BE REDOWNLOADED, HENCE THE BAD REVIEW!!! I THINK THE RIGHT WORD FOR THAT IS "THEFT"!!! It is a real SHAME & FRAUD that the "Shadow Warrior 2 Deluxe" Edition can still be bought on the Steam Store, NOT including said MISSING SOUNDTRACK, as advertised!!! UPDATE: NICE that the Soundtrack is finally BACK (as of 2024!) but I won't change my Review to "Positive", because it was a VERY D!CKISH MOVE to SILENTLY REMOVE IT from Paying Customers for almost 2 Years in the very Firsrt Place...;-)

Edit: prev I posted that you could not locate the sound track dlc. Since then I have been able to find it; if you go to manage and then browse local files for the dlc, you can use your file browser to find the sound track folder and play the mp3 files manually. So far the music and ambient content are what I expected. If locating files physically like this sounds like something you are not comfortable with, just stick with the game alone. It is insane action.
