SCP - The Sentient Box

probably not for folks looking for a really difficult and intensive ARG experience, but if you are interested in the types of puzzle-solving that go into ARGs (mostly ciper-decoding but some googling, coordinate finding, etc.) and either relatively new to that or looking for something simpler to pass the time between tougher ARGs, this is a fun little game! around 3-4 hours of content if you pay attention to the story, which was fine! i enjoyed what i got out of it for a couple bucks to cool off from work.

Brilliant, makes you feel like you're being watched, the puzzles are interesting and googling things to solve them makes it even more immersive, like I'm actually helping this guy out, easily worth the money they're asking for it and it's so satisfying when you figure out which cipher to use and get the correct answer!

Nice game, reminds me of the Black Watchmen and Nite Team 4. I'm going for more of a challenge so my Google-fu will be performed entirely using Lycos. Wish me luck! Devs - if you want to make that its own achievement, be my guest.

It's a really good game but it is way too easy, if you are used to ARGs, you'll get bored with this one. Maybe use it to get someone into ARGs rather than play it by yourself.

Very creative, good and enjoyable story and gameplay.

It is a pretty good game, with interesting lore and some fun puzzles. My only issue with it is that it helps you too much. The hints make it too obvious, sometimes they literally tell you exactly how to solve the puzzle. I find it frustrating when the game doesn't give me time to think, especially when that is not an optional feature. I was having fun in the first half of the game, but I got more and more frustrated to the point that I lost interest in the lore and stopped paying attention. I would still recommend it though, but for people who haven't played many games of the like. It is probably a good way to introduce someone to the world of ARGs, but it won't be challenging enough for someone with a bit more experience.

One of the best puzzle games i've played in a while. A shame this game doesn't have more of an audience

Very fun game, and criminally unerrated too. This game really puts you thinking and working, very fun too.

I got this game because it was labeled as an SCP game. I don't know if I just don't know the SCP this is based on, or if I didn't get far enough to experience it, but I got to level three before spending 30 minutes on the puzzle and not getting anywhere. I think this game might have been possible to be good, but it honestly just wasn't.

Good ARG game but the puzzles are very basic. If you play a lot of ARGs or have even cursory knowledge of basic ciphers, it's extremely easymode. Really good for beginners or if you just want some SCP plot lore. Very quick, only around 3-4h to beat. Worth on sale.

Maybe I am missing stuff on the puzzles or maybe it's because my husband is also my brother, but seriously I don't think they work. In the beginning it's fine but from puzzle, I think 5 or 6 onwards it gets screwy. I checked the walkthrough and the answer doesn't match how you're supposed to get there, not to me anyway. I bought it on offer so I'm not too bothered and may go back to it sometime but couldn't recommend it.

Could someone explain forsen to me? I watched his stream for the first time yesterday, always seen him in clips and he spent roughly 80 to 90 percent of the time not talking while his chat spammed a bunch of dogshit, is that all his streams are? Does he not do anything but just sit there silently all day?

Its a great game absolutely love it even though I havent finished it everything up to the last level can be figured out relatively easy not to easy but it doesnt feel impossible the last level however I still cant figure out no idea what it is| Edit: I have finished the game and WOW Absolutely loved it Went back for the alternate ending and as a fan of SCP it blew my mind a little

Played this in 5 hours across 2-3 days, puzzles are easy but interesting, story was great and I loved learning about ciphers and codes I've never heard of before :) recommended if u like ARGs or puzzle games, or just want a good mystery Also the pictures from the start creeped me out lol

I want so, so much more of this! Blending real world locations, people, music, and so much puzzle solving it'll have your head spinning made this game an amazing experience! Personally i'd have a walk through or two pulled up because some of the puzzles are really easy to mess up, annoyingly so, but overall they're all simple and fun!

This has been a fun experience so far, i would recommend that others try it
