Rising Storm 2: Vietnam - Pulling Rank Cosmetic DLC

"Why would I buy this cosmetic DLC?" A good question random citizen, This Proper way to do cosmetic items. It is not needed to play the base game. All weapons and attachments are able to be used the second you start the game. There is no predatory lootboxes that lock progession behind a pay wall. Even more importantly, the new BushRanger Update, is 100% FREE of charge. This is entirely optional. My thought is? If you have a bit of spare cash, support and help the Devs, and reward them for doing things the right way. Cheers!

I don't usually buy stuff like this. But Tripwire has been delivering really cool free content, So im happy to support the devs.

I purchased this for a few reasons. Rising Storm 2 was nearly half the price of most AAA games on release The devs have made free content for the game after it's release, and plan to make more content in the form of maps, factions, weapons. No lootbox scummy shit so that's cool I am way too addicted to the game. So if I am able to throw a few more dollars their way, I almost feel like I am making an investment for more content. Keep it up TripWire, you guys are doing pretty good.

I'm very glad to support Antimatter/Tripwire with buying cosmetic DLC. It's also cool that the items are serious, no pink camo and such.

Ok lets be honest guys: This is expensive as fuck, the content is a joke and in most cases utterly useless for the actual gameplay. ONLY BUY THIS IF: - You want to support TWI - You have money to spend because you eat shit instead of food - You are absolutely nuts and manic. The pack is shite. Just give TWI your money and hope for them to do some good shit.

Rising storm is awesome, just like the first Red Orchestra. And i happily give 8 euro's to the devs and i would do it again in a heartbeat but i think in the next pack the should add some guns aswell. maybe a Thompson or a BAR for the allies and something like the Kar 98 or a MP44 for the axis. its a simple pack that gives some hats and uniforms so dont expect too mutch, do it purely for the future of this game and the upcoming ones.

Supplement I liked. But on the cover I saw Chi-com bandolier and the officer of the VNA. In the game this was not. Still it has white gloves. As I understand it is the dress uniform. Can clean white gloves, they were only used in ceremonial form. And so I enjoyed it. Want to see more of this Supplement. You did a great job. Good luck in the work.

Kind of a steep price for a handfull of cosmetic items, but I didn't mind supporting the devs.

Released alongside an update with new factions, weapons, vehicles. A pretty simple cosmetic pack but the money for it helps keeping updates for the game free and frequent. I wouldn't deem it "necessary" to get but if you want to help keep the development of the game going and get some fancy stuff while doing it then I recommend this.

While the cosmetics it gives aren't amazing (though I do love the Cavalry Ascot, cigars and Beret) It's worth supporting the devs for the amazing free content they provide like the recent Bushranger update. Thanks for the constant support of the game Antimatter, and I'd love more cosmetic packs like this in the future so I can support this amazing game. Cheers :)

This is purely cosmetic. There isn't any real advantage in owning these items aside from getting more customization options which are honestly pretty neat themselves. Aside from that, I still recommend to get this DLC purely if you want to support the good work the devs are putting in this game. I'm glad they released the Australian map pack for free and I feel they should have some sort of reward for that. This DLC serve this purpose as it feels more like a donation option than anything else, for me. I hope the devs will continue their work and release more contents in the future. The Red Orchestra and Rising Storm series are one of the few multiplayer games I genuinely enjoy to play and that is vastly because of the care the devs are putting into them. There is no lootbox, or microtransaction or any of those things that diminish the enjoyment in a game. Just pure passions and loves that transpire a desire to give the best experience to the players as they can. I'll be sure to play and support these games in any way I can and this little DLC gives me the opportunity to do so.

Lets be honest. The price for whats offered here is disgusting. Consider this more of a donation for the bushranger content update, which is what you are actually doing here. The hats are cool but the uniform difference in the new additions is minimal. However, I don't mind donating to such an awesome game that provides these massive content updates for free in exchange for some overpriced costmetic dlc.

Nice cosmetics well worth the £5.99. .. I would like to be able to have Shades, cigar And the Tash at same time as a character customisation maybe add a beard option to but hey we can't have everything lol

The best Cosmetic DLC for Vietnam. Would definately recommend if you want to spend the extra $$$ to help better this game and support the Devs.

Mostly got this so I could perfect my NVA TL loadout. Everything else is ok.

o oh, other players are telling me the beret doesn't show in game and makes the front of my soldier bald.

A few neat comsetic pack in exchange for a free faction dlc pack. Not a bad deal.

The aircav tunic says "Kilmore" on it 10/10 Always good to support the devs

I bought the DLC for that damn aircav stetson hat along with the aviators, I was disappointed with the fact that i didn't get it. In the words of reviewbrah "my disappointment is immeasurable and my day is ruined." I just want the aircav hat and the aviators :(

Anyone else think the "calvary Ascot" was an entire new outfit, and not just a little handkerchief. good dlc, but fuck

Where the fuck is my Bandolier and Rig featured in the first photo... I expected this to be part of the DLC and was unpleasantly surprised that it was not. Is it even possible to achieve this look in game or is it simply photoshopped? Giving negative review for misleading representation of contents via this picture, I have yet to figure out how to achieve this look in game, if I am wrong someone tell me because I think I have been screwed.

Only bought this to support the game/developers, but after the developers started releasing non-cosmetic DLCs I stopped buying them. I do not support this kind business that has been plaguing the gaming community. I was upset that RS2 would even do that.

Not worth €7,99, it should be on half of that (€3,99 or €4,99)but I bought this just to support developers.
