Once again the DLC released by Little Green Men is more like a full fledged expansion. I'll explain IMO why. Most of the time DLC are simple assets being added to the game, such as weapons or skins, often close to a $5 price point. Expansions would be a larger undertaking, often adding entirely new quests/characters/plots, often for half or more of the game's original price. Titans DLC offers not just 1, but 3 unique quest lines to choose from. The DLC seemingly can be played as an "end game" if you so wish. You will choose 1 of 3 powers to align yourself with in the quest to build a Titan class ship and gain ultimate galactic supremecy. Each of the 3 powers offer a unique Titan class ship and storyline to go with it. It's pretty clear to see what LGM have done here.. Given us a fantastic multi-faceted expansion which allows us to choose who conquers the universe, at the price point of a single CS:GO gun skin. THANK YOU again LGM for all of the hard work you put in for us fans! You guys deserve every penny and are a shining example to all indie devs on Steam.

Do you have too much in-game money lying around to kit out your space boats? Do you want to to be massive and nigh-invincible or stomp all over entire fleets without a great deal of effort? If yes, then sure, buy this. Don't buy it for the story. There's only barely enough to explain that there are massive titan ships, why there weren't any before, and why you get to have one.

A great addition to expand the endgame, but not for the story.

nothing but problems since installed dlc. protect titan from other titan and all i get after cut scene is split warp screen and no visual of anything. these problems take fun out of a decent game

I Like the main-game and I got some enjoyment out of this, BUT the way they designed this DLC is just terrible. (To be fair - I only played the story arc of the Veles, but if the other two play vastly different - that's still bad design). First, I don't think you can start the DLC-missions from an already existing savegame from the vanilla game - at least I couldn't figure it out. That is something I expect from an expansion - continue where I left off with new content. Then there's the EXTREME difficulty of the missions. I had to grind half a day to get a better ship to even have a chance to succeed - and still had to turn down the difficulty after failing again and again at the same mission. And then you get your Titan and there is NO MORE CHALLENGE at all. There are no more new side-missions and everything you encounter on the map just dies instantly. Why not design the missions in a way where you get the Titan early on and THEN have some challenging missions? And by challenging I mean leave the difficulty as is, but give me a Titan to level the field.

They upped the difficulty without increasing the level cap. A cheap way to make the game harder. No voice acting in the DLC either.

I have tried this DLC exactly once, and it's making me regret the entire game purchase. For the Titan campaign, you start with a level sixty-five character and a 'fully upgraded battleship.' As soon as the new game loaded, naturally enough, it asked me if I'd like to spend all those skill points. I was about three quarters through doing so when I was jumped by two random enemies, and my 'fully upgraded battleship' could barely dent their shields while they blew me apart with the ease of damp cardboard. Thus, I say the Titan campaign is too short, consisting as it does of zero playable missions and less than five minutes of play time.
