Talisman - The City Expansion

I have to say this is the best expansion by far, if I had to recommend any of the DLC's for this game it has to be this one. - New Pets - New Shops - New Enemies - New Weapons - New Bounty Rewards - New Unique Map Expansion - New Unique Expansion Cards - New Game Mode that can end the game much faster and still have fun. - 6 new characters that has really good effects on them in their own ways.

In my opinion this expansion is the best one yet: 6 player option creates so much more fun The AI has been speeded up so that even 6-player is faster than 4 There are now so many new cards that the combos just flow Love the new "pet" creature in the city Love the new shops in the city The Bounty Hunter must be one of the greatest characters of all I just love this game and this expansion has only improved it.

A cool expansion that adds lots of items and stores and relatively low-difficulty encounters. Makes the game longer but gives some more variety. As with almost all of the expansion DLCs, you can try before you buy - there's one that can be played for free every week, and it changes every Monday. Or, you can keep setting your computer clock ahead a week until you find the one you want to play.

A perfect expansion to the original Talisman board. No annoying plugs that interfere with whatever's going on in the main game, no frustrating mechanics, no actual reason to dislike this DLC. It is the ideal option to upgrade any Talisman session with more active gameplay that offers some top-notch balancing to the 'test your luck' experience. Hardly any DLC offers this many options to spend your gold on. On top of that, this expansion's characters, adventure cards and endings are all quite fun and entertaining. I enable this expansion in 95% of all my sessions with friends, and I strongly advise you to do so as well.

Whoso holdeth both Luna and Lucky shall break the game. 11/10 would buy pets in the city again (Luna: Choose a result when paying fate to reroll a die. Lucky: Replenish 1 fate every turn.)

Let me preface this by saying that all of the expansions in the Kingdom Expansion Bundle are good, and that it's definitely worth going for the bundle instead of purchasing each map expansion individually. Having both the City and Dungeon expansions unlocks the Deep Realms free DLC - a set of fun mini-dungeons with cool rewards that connect the eastern edge of the City and the western edge of the Dungeon. The City Expansion on its own adds a a ton of new mechanics, followers, and equipment to the game - but my favorite so far are the pets. I had a game where someone tried to insta-kill me by using the Medium to drop the King of the Dead right on top of me. My pet skunk Stinker sprayed him in the face and repelled him to the next space over :D

This expansion is has some annoying bugs. Potions and other trinkets which state they can be used at any time yet cannot be used until it is your turn. A few other ones but the one game breaking one is Grumpy Wizard event card. The computer does not know what to do if this card is drawn and will get lock up. The positives about this expansion is the shops, which give you far more choices to equip your character with than the original game alone. This would be a great expansion if the bugs were fixed.

I personally would only use it if you have Highland, Dungeon, and Woodland in play as well. It has some of the coolest characters though,

Great expansion, adding a lot o strategies for different players and gamestyle always using it! A must in every play

Pairs so well with the Hinterlands and Dungeon expansion you'd think they were developed together.

Adds some great content and allows you to purchase items you can't find anywhere else in the game.

The game is Amazing really follows the Board Game. I love being able to Play by myself sometimes without having to assemble everything and this was perfect!

I really like this expansion, it adds another corner game board piece, new cards, items, shops, enemies, characters etc. Really helps flush out the game a bit more.

the user interface is the absolute worse i have ever seen in any program of any sort.

This is pretty cool, not as good as dungeon, very coin heavy cards and quests.

I made my friends pay me gold to get alcochol poisoning about 17 times in one game, 10/10 Nerf Armoury .

A very fun DLC for people who aren't poor.
