This game is great with friends, as the name implies. The only setback to an otherwise perfect minigolf sim, is it does this weird thing every turn where the controller is not connected to the next player until SOMEONE presses A. The problem with this is some people AHEM* want to screw up your par by hitting A and throwing your ball in a lake or something. The controller should be assigned to the player and left at that. It is really the only gripe. 4.2/5

Trickshot Your Friends is a great game when you have collision turned on, and knock your friends off the course, or even better, onto a different part of the course. For people who say "jumping ruins courses", and things like "well this makes it to easy". Then you have misunderstood how to trickshot. I promise, if you try to do fun trickshots, you will lose, but in the most enjoyable way. In summary, Backshots on Your Friends is a great game!

Great game to get on with friends once in a while. The graphics look like ass, but that doesn't really matter. The golf mechanics are well done, and there is enough free maps for it to never become stale. Highly recommended!

I've had a great time playing this game with my friends! it can be a tad glitchy every once in a while, but nothing terrible; you may have to forfeit a hole every once in a blue moon, but that's pretty rare. I do wish that the game would only give items that you haven't gotten before when it gives you new items, but that's more of personal preference than anything against the game itself. overall enjoyable game!

Short form: For about the cost of a pizza, you and some friends can have a fun but very slightly junky party game (when it's on sale) with more base game content than you'd expect in most modern games with DLC included. Super worth it. 8/10 Long form: With this game essentially "completed" in terms of support and development, I will say that after about 5 years of play, it has shaped up nicely. It is an excellent deal on sale, the amount of game you get for 4 and some change dollars is excellent. I do find that in the official maps you can sometimes run into some consistently located geometry clipping/hit box issues. I say issues lightly, it feels more like you hit a wrinkle or rock under the 'grass' of the course where course pieces connect. One thing of positive note is the excellent policy of the way players engage with DLC. If the host has a DLC course, all people in the lobby can play on the map course of whether they own it or not. This makes the game very accessible from a financial standpoint. This accessibility leans deeply into the 'party game' feeling of this title. Add some silly free cosmetics, all available to unlock for free simply by playing, and you have a wonderful arcadey mini golf party game experience.

My friends and I absolutely love this game! We all own it on PS5 and when I decided to get a PC, we bought it here! Absolutely a ton of fun, especially if you play with random shapes and sizes! We have a blast and can't wait for 2!!

War. War never changes. I still feel the echoes of the screams of my companions as they got cucked out of a hole in one. I've gotten reports from animal control for having a wild rabid chimp on my property but it was only me clenching my ass cheeks and toes as I made that trick shot. This game is not for the weak, and I hope you're ready to pay an absurd amount of money for DLCs that should only cost a dollar at most. Steam sales are my love and savior, but not as much as my dear comrades that failed to get all pars beside me. If you wish to 100% this game you're a masochist. Don't fall into the same trap as me and my brethren. You will have war flash backs and want to end your existence the entire time. Anyway! 9/10 experience, just wish the DLCs weren't $10 when they are not worth that whatsoever. Shout out to the greedy dev team, love you <3

This game is a fantastic way to wind down and just enjoy the pleasures of mini golf but from your home! The courses can range from very easy to challenging but the added video game flair brings the concept of mini golf to a whole new dimension. I very much look forward to the sequel and recommend this game to the fullest extent! (P.S. this game goes on sale frequently and usually costs less than $10)

this is the best game for playing with your friends balls. it feels so good when your ball enters the hole on the first try. but it gets frustrating when your friends hit your balls with their balls and even more aggravating when you lose control of your own balls. when you stroke it too many times you lose, which is unfair in my opinion, but still fun nonetheless. buy this game when on sale, because $15 is too much just to play with some balls, unless you get really jealous that your friends play with their balls without you.

where do i begin.. i used to like this game but after this update Buggy and glitches that makes me wanna rage quit or punch the day lights at my pc screen till its fully broken. i could say yeah its not bad but making me think.. will the new golf with friends 2 will be like that to as the first game? maybe more fun or just bag of even more glitch's or bugs that never get fixed and takes a heck of a long time to get a hot fix in months.. For now i dont recommend this game

Great game. They nickel and dime you with the DLC's. Is it worth it, meh not really. I do love the game. But some of the stuff should be included with it.

The game is not intuitive, fucks you over on 70% of the levels and in general is poorly designed.

The game is honestly fun if you want a competitive night with your friends. But the game is so poorly developed it sometimes makes it impossible to play the right way. The game takes barely any skill, you're just praying the map doesn't screw you over. Also, they made "hidden achievements" that are just playing Hockey Mode on some of the maps. Wanna know why these achievements are hidden? Because they straight up didn't feel like changing the 7 maps a bit in order to even make it PLAYABLE on hockey mode, so you're gonna just have to forfeit the holes if you want the achievements. Sadly I really want to complete the game so I am putting myself through the torture of doing this. There are moments where your puck will literally just get stuck behind the net and you can't do anything about it. On top of this, I hate that some of the achievements require you dropping around $10 per map for a few extra maps to score par on. This is a very money hungry game. The ability to custom-create your own maps along with playing community maps is fire. Most people make more fun/more playable maps than the actual game includes. Game would be so much better if developed properly. Still fun with friends. I hate the gingerbread guy.

Easily the least fun while playing golf. The mechanics, sound, controls, physics and camera are all garbage. I think only people who have never mini golfed in real life could think this game was ok. The shot meter is easily the worst I've played in 30 years of sports gaming. Somehow this is a step back from NES Open Tournament Golf (1991).
