Train Sim World® 2: Ruhr-Sieg Nord: Hagen - Finnentrop Route Add-On

I slammed Dovetail in a previous review for their attempt at "remastering" Sand Patch Grade. That route deserves to be called a game rather than a simulation. However, this route is a gem and deserves to be included in Train SIM World. I like to drive routes without the HUD and to do so I need correctly marked routes - speed warning posts, correct speed posts and working signals. This route has all of that. When I first drive a route, I create a scenario that takes me from one end of a route to the other. I look for inconsistencies or reasons that will keep me from turning off the HUD while driving. This route has no inconsistencies. I only wish Dovetail would show this attention to detail on all of their routes. This is a super fun route to drive and master. PZB is an unforgiving b&^*h. There are some minor negatives. The route is a bit dark even on a clear summer day at noon and the manual could have been a bit more in depth concerning some in cab features, but aside from those small negatives, it is definitely worth a purchase. I would give it a solid B+.

Unfinished. As of today, the locomotives make no noise accelerating. Dovetail says they are "investigating" the issue on their roadmap. If you play this game without sound, then I would highly recommend it, as the views are excellent, but if you play it with sounds, WAIT until the issue gets solved!

There are at least two scenarios where you can't start the train ... from when you get in the train it says do this and do that and so i do everything in the order it says then it still doesn't start ... 2 out of 5 scenarios i can't drive and i haven't tried the other scenarios yet

Broken scenario, it was on roadmap to be fixed, but then disappeared and no word about what's happening to it. This scenario was released now 9 months ago, and they still haven't fixed it... but releasing new DLCs, yeah they got time to do that.

This is a wonderful route for TSW3, and worth paying full price. The layout is interesting, the landscape is nicely decorated, the locomotives "feel" good under braking and under power, and the scenarios are interesting. Ruhr-Sieg Nord is better than many of the newer routes. Good job.

In some places very nice route. In some others looks more like Microsoft Train Simulator 1 (especially distant view). Signalling problems here and there. Shunting signals - red and white light go on simultaniously! Really? Manual junction levers without sound!

Gotta be my favorite route, especially with the 363 add on. Passenger isn't as fun as the freight side, at least in my opinion.

Do not buy this route individually! Instead, buy the Train Sim World 2020 Collector's Edition, which gives you access to this route plus: Great Western Express Long Island Rail Road: New York - Hicksville Main Spessart Bahn: Aschaffenburg - Gemunden Northern Trans-Pennine: Manchester - Leeds Peninsula Corridor: San Franciso - San Jose Each of those routes on their own cost £24.99, but the Collector's Edition costs just £32.99. Unless you're absolutely certain you'll never want any of the other routes, buying the Collector's Edition is clearly the best option.

There is a lot of stiupid bugs. But dlc is preety good. Trail is very detalied and long&interesting. Have a great day.
