It's an ok route, scenery is nice, the ÖBB EMU is not bad but not great either. One thing it lacks tho is a drivers manual on austrian signalling and signs.

Its ok the route looks good and bad all at the same time. ÖBB 4024 Talent EMU sounds are trash so No positive review

For some stupid reason the brakes glitch at some station making you unable to continue the service. Releasing the brakes does nothing, resetting the physics does nothing and it's just extremely annoying

Well, honestly i love this DLC, the background are great, Alps are amazing to see when driving, The train is great and easy to drive. So if you want to stop alot definitely buy this DLC :)

This route is definitely one of the better ones. Its great to see Austria finally added and OBB, adding cross border services with Germany, although its a very short crossing. The 4024 is modeled nicely and is nice to drive but I am not knowledgeable about this loco so I can't speak on accuracy. The biggest let down is the sounds and that DTG stated they would not be changing it going forwards. Its understandable that OBB didn't allow them to perform a recording session on the unit, and that they are using the other Talent sounds as a replacement. The fact they won't work on it in the future I guess isn't surprising rhetoric from them. Distant mountains and scenery looks very good and the new LIDAR tech they have been utilizing has been paying off, especially if you compare it to the likes of Arosa line. However the texture/shadow pop in when you zoom in and out and the bland ground textures can sometimes ruin the mood, but that goes for every route currently. I have been enjoying the timetable and scenarios, 185 and Vectron have been nice to run freight on. Overall the route is good and I enjoy it but I am not sure if I would recommend it for $40.00 by itself due to the lack of layers and rolling stock.

There are bugs on this route: - On part of the main track near Ludesch station, the catenary system is missing; it disappears and reappears, causing your pantograph to glide through the air. - At Wolfurt station, on the exit from the freight yard, catenary poles are placed within the clearance of the main tracks. This is not the only place; there are others. - At the triangular junction near Wolfurt, a speed limit sign has text that floats in the air. - Near Klaus in Vlbg Bahnhst station, the highway bridge is very low, and your train hits it. - In general, there are sections where poles lack attachments to the wires, as if they were forgotten. - There are scenario bugs where the green light does not turn on during shunting at the freight station. - At Rankweil station, on track one, the catenary attachments float in the air because poles were forgotten. There are a huge number of issues!

Really one of the most interesting DLCs. Unfortunately, some features are not playable and functional.

I couldn't chose between yes/no on recommendation so I just chose no. This is definitely the best route that is included with the TSW4 bundle but it isn't that interesting. With only one type of rolling stock and a kinda linear route there isn't much to do playing on this route after having driven 200 KM on it. What I liked: + Route has a branch line + Route has many speed limits and HBF's which means that the route is not super linear + Trains maximum speed is reached + Approach to lindau is fun What I didn't like: - The train is like an electric car. If you aren't giving gas the Electric brake will start slowing you down. This train doesn't do that but it feels like you are braking while coasting. It has a very high resistance - Train is way to agile to have fun driving on this route. (If you wonder which train it's the passenger train (which passenger train? Well, THERE ONLY IS ONE) - Would have liked to see another train - Grass looks a little funky (Minecraft dark oak forest) - Lindau insel station looks like a ghost town Overall score: 5/10

I really like the route, especially in the base game. It gives the player a good feeling a rapid transit, and light(ish) rail without having to buy other DLCs The only real thing I despise is PZB. I think I just don't know how it works, but when i do literally nothing wrong, I hear an ear-piercing beep, and then hey hey, it's out on my EB and made me 3 minutes late and made me lose a ton of points. The rolling stock is very nice, and I overall very much like this route. However I would definitely recommend Dresden-Riesa over it, because Dresden first of all has bi-levels, (cool) and a crap ton of freight trains and like 500+ timetables. Basically just get the deluxe edition :)

Sure, it's not perfect, and there are some kinks still to work out, but everythings works well and there's nothing gamebreaking, and with a variety of services and some layers, though disappointingly, the number of layered in locos that are driveable is very small, this is interesting and fun to drive. Trains are done well and the problem with the lights in the EMU not visible will hopefully soon be fixed, it has been acknowlegded. This is by far one if not the best as well as most beautiful route in the game. And sure, some buildings are completly wrong, but as someone that's been there many times but does not live there I couldn't tell you which ones, so I don't think is matters. Runs are quite different from each other depending which scenario or freight or passenger service on which part of the route you drive, so there's plenty to do and to look at. Also, performance is asthoundingly good for what it is.

A revised manual with detailed guidance on Austrian-type signalling and signs is needed.
