Cue Club 2: Pool & Snooker

Just a classic, great physics, different rules and modes to choose, a lot to personalise. Better to play with 2D camera rather than 3D mode.

Not a bad game. The ball physics are fairly good, with quick felt and cushions/rails offering good rebound. The graphics in-game look great and equipment doesn't need constant maintenance, unlike free 8-ball games I have tried in the past. Fairly close to reality in those respects. As a regular player IRL, the only error I have picked up is the ability to drive a ball around the table, off all 6 rails, twice, and accidentally drop it in a random pocket without having to nominate it prior. A total fluke shot, obviously unintended but seemingly ok in this game (??). Having said that, I play outside the U.S so I'm not sure if it's a country-by-country thing. I play International rules, where unless you're 'very obviously' aiming at a pocket, you nominate pockets for all shots. No 6-rail shenanigans or lucky pots; no actual penalty for doing it, just loss of turn. Apart from that small issue though, quite a good game and I would recommend - 8.5/10.

Great pool and snooker. Had this game for years now. Still the best on screen pool i've played. Developers still looking after the game with updates and bug fixes. (I've never noticed any bugs anyway).

Ball physics are exceptional.
