It's a casual chill game with a little story. Not a puzzle game just so you know, other than that not bad, but only worth it during sale

it's not a bad game, but it's not what the steam page would make you believe it is. the puzzles are nothing but an oversimplified distraction with the main focus being a cliché story with fairly cheesy characters. the sound design is pretty good. i can't say i didn't enjoy it, but i was left disappointed

Controls are a pain and took forever to get things to work and still beat the game in an hour and half. Great concept just wish there was more to it and glad I got it on sale rather than full price.

It's a cozy game with a heartwarming story. I love the art of this game and the mechanics of repairing things. The music is beautiful aswell, the voice actors did an amazing job. In my eyes, this is honestly a masterpiece. I wish it would be longer ♡

This game feels like it was made for children. The game's marketed as a puzzle game, but I'd describe it more as a visual novel with a couple of interactive elements. It's very short, around 1-2 hours, and most of that time is spent on listening to the story. The puzzles are ridiculously easy, with the only difficulty coming from the clunky controls. I assumed that the pictures shown on the store page were some of the earlier puzzles. But no, most of the game's puzzles are shown, and the couple ones that weren't are just as basic. And two of the puzzles in the game are just you packing/unpacking your suitcase! Even though the game's story was clearly the focus, I found it very unimaginative. It's a cute story that I've read a million times before, with themes revolving around family and forgiveness. You'll know exactly where the story is heading after the first 3-4 puzzles, and it never deviates from that path.
The conclusion felt like one from those children's books that teach kids good morals, as the MC learns to appreciate her own family from her interactions with other people.
The game's art style is lovely, and it's well voice acted. It also has some pretty alright original music. This game left a sour taste in my mouth. And while I didn't enjoy it someone looking for a cozy game with very light puzzle elements might do. Wait to buy it on sale and don't expect it to ever dip beneath the surface.

very short game. short, yet heartwarming. orienting the items you're repairing can get a little annoying when it doesn't rotate the way you want it or when you accidentally pick up another item, but other than that good game.

A beautiful little tale about rekindling relationships, not taking things for granted and fixing bits 'n bobs. The puzzles are satisfying and the music is soothing. It's definitely worth an hour of your time.

In all honesty, I am not quite sure why this game has been received so positively. Maybe the charming presentation of the puzzles is its redeeming quality but beyond its art it is a very casual and short game. The puzzles are very easy and do not require problem solving skills. You'll likely have a more difficult time with the fidgety controls than the objects at hand. Not to mention that solving the game's initial resolution bug requires more out-of-the-box thinking than any of the challenges within. The story is a tacked on visual novel that kind of gets in the way of game-play and only the smallest percentile of players will draw any form of revelatory experience from its shallow conclusion.

A cute game with some fun puzzles. The story is kind of sappy and the puzzles aren't hard. The graphics are pretty. Perfect entertainment if you want to chill and play something low pace. I wish there were more puzzels!

The game mechanics were easy and fun, but I personally struggled with the voice overs and didn't feel any connection to the characters. Maybe if it had been longer, or if the story was given more detail and care, I would have been able to appreciate the story. I honestly wish that the game had simply focused on the mechanics and made more levels, rather than creating a story. It didn't give me anything to root for and because I wasn't given enough time to care about the characters, there was no emotional payoff when their (very short) arcs concluded. The art is beautiful and I appreciate the work and time that goes into making a game. I just hope next time there will be a more robust game and more tangible story.

A cute cozy game where you repair things and enjoy a short simple story where families you meet are fixed at the same time. Only 13 puzzles, so this can easily be completed within a couple of evenings or a weekend.

The game was very cute and the music was relaxing. Only thing is I wish they would have gone with a Q/E to rotate compared to using strictly the mouse. Well-done, over all!

Cool game concept. learn how to restore various items. To be honest i did not pay any attention to the story as I just wanted to fix things. Also was very easy to skip through the dialogue. Not much content in the game. Good price for sale but not sure its worth almost £6.

Fun game, good story, nice music. Finished in less than 90 minutes. I wouldn't have paid full price for something so short, since there are other games at this price point that are longer, but worth it on a hefty sale.

A rather short game but with a relaxing atmosphere. Definitely recommend for a quick puzzle + story based game. My only complaint really is that the mechanics are a little hard to fiddle with sometimes. It happened more than once that things just set back down or disassembled again because of the items automatically rotating to the spot you need to work on next. But other than that, it was a joy playing through!

Got this game on a whim, saw it on a steam sale and it really caught my eye. I love assembly games, and was in the mood for a short, cozy game! I wasn't expecting the story to be so rich and heart-warming so it was a pleasant surprise. The soundtrack to this game is incredible, so relaxing! I even found myself leaving the game paused/between levels while doing other stuff just to listen to the music. Definitely recommend this game to all cozy game lovers!

It is a very lovely game. The artstyle is quite beautiful and the story was really nice. All in all it was really calming and relaxing to play. Unfortunately it was way too short. I really hope the Devs add more content or like an entire new chapter maybe about Maria returning to her parents town or sth.

A really enjoyable, relaxing game. I used to work repairing things for a living but issues with my hands have meant that I needed to switch to an office based role. This really brought back the enjoyment I used to feel while repairing things. I really recommend this game if you just want to relax with something to sooth your soul a little.

Charming. I really enjoyed the tactile feel of Assemble with Care. If you're on the fence about whether you'll enjoy this game, here are a couple notes to help you decide: First, it's definitely short, with relatively easy puzzles. I like to take my time in games and I still finished Assemble with Care in under 3 hours. Definitely worth the price, in my opinion, and I wasn't looking for a huge challenge! If you're looking for something different, your mileage may vary. Second, the vibe of the game is a little different than what I gleaned from the trailer. I was imagining a sort of chill, minimalist, vaguely dreamlike game (which might just be me projecting, since I'm very into that). In reality it's much more like a children's book, with narrative interludes between each chapter featuring characters who drive the message home. Not bad, just more sentimental than what I'd pictured. Possibly a good choice for younger gamers! Regardless, Assemble with Care absolutely delivered the main thing I was looking for - a beautiful, relaxing, low-pressure game about helping fix vintage mechanical items. If that sounds good to you, give it a try.

I really enjoyed this cozy game and I do wish it lasted a longer. I particularly liked the art and sound details which made me feel like I was in a quaint little town. However, I did find some of the controls a bit unintuitive which made the first few chapters a bit frustrating.

The game is very short & quick, while the puzzles are too easy and require no problem solving. The actual controls are a bit finicky when playing. If you're interested in playing this game I recommend getting it when it's on sale, (as of writing this its $2.39 USD before taxes). There are only 13-14 levels in the game, maybe if the dev adds some sort of 2nd chapter to the story of the game via a free dlc it would be worth the $7.99. Overall the art style is cute, and the story might be of interest to those who prefer visual novel games, but as a puzzle game its a bit lackluster.

I liked the idea of this game but I feel that it just falls short. Gameplay wise it is very basic; these 'repairs' do not require much problem solving or thinking. Story wise there is also not much to it. It's a sweet but very simple and cliché story. This all doesn't have to be a problem if the game mechanics interacts with the story in an interesting way. Compare this with a game like Unboxing where there is also a sweet but short story but it's completely told through the game mechanics and art. In addition to that I found the controls/UX although simple, not super intuitive and frustrating. What I can say is that the visuals and the sounds are quite polished. I can see people some people having fun with this but to me it's a big 'Meh'. 3/10

Short and sweet zen-like game where you focus on repairing various items for the townsfolk of Bellariva. It only lasts for a few hours and the puzzles are never really challenging but it's a wonderful little pallet cleanser. Controls on the Steam Deck track well, utilising the touch pad and triggers.

I've stupidly put off playing this game for probably a year or more, what a mistake. Such a charming style from art to music accompanied a simple, lovely narrative but i truly fell in love with the game's interactive mechanics☆ It's such a shame it's so short! Doesn't put a damper on the game At All but if there were just a list of bonus levels i would of totally gone through them all :)

Absolutely delightful! I live with a handyman but I am not gifted that way in real life, so it was amazing to be able to do it myself. Everything was clearly laid out, and while I did need a little help on occasion, it was very satisfying. The story was written beautifully, and paced in a way where you loved the characters but weren't bogged down with a ton of dialogue. The voice actors were great! I picked the game up on sale since I knew it was short, and was not disappointed!

The game is truly beautiful and serves as a heartfelt reminder to cherish your family and stay connected with them. It’s an emotionally moving experience that leaves a lasting impression. The soundtrack is exceptional, perfectly complementing the atmosphere, and the game’s relatively short length makes it easy to complete without feeling drawn out. While the controls can occasionally be a bit frustrating, this minor issue doesn’t detract significantly from the overall experience. Rating: 7.6/10
