Beautiful landscapes. A clever gameplay mechanic that takes you through many corners of this peaceful world. I just wish there were human characters instead of animals.

Lately, that is for the past few years, my focus has shifted to indie games. This particular game is an auditory and visual delight. Simple story line, semi-linear play, nice graphics. I've played through twice, getting ready for a third. I like to revisit it every so often just because its such a calm respite from both other games and honestly, life. It's visually stunning, and peaceful. Get it on sale if you can and enjoy!

Beautiful, relaxing game to enjoy at your leisure. The fetch quests get a little repetitive. I'd like to see more canvas material and more incentives/rewards. After wandering around for a couple of hours doing errands for the town folk, I'm not very motivated to continue.

it is a slow game, but it is a great game. You wander around this beautiful world doing random tasks that pop up when you meet new people and explore new locations. Its a perfect game to just chill and relax

It's a nice vibe. It's a touch janky in a few spots, the character models take a minute to get used to, but wandering through the forest (specially after I bought my coat) is just so pleasant. The graphics are what they are, but it comes together in some pretty sceneries. If you think you'd like to explore a nice little island and be a wandering painter while doing a few errands, solving some mild mysteries and getting at least one couple together, have a go. (You can even go fishing) One thing to mention--something about the movement gave me a headache off the bat, not sure why, some games just do this to me, but in the options, we can adjust mouse sensitivity, add a crosshair and adjust the FOV in the options. This helped almost entirely, and then it just took a little more playtime and my brain/inner ear got fully used to it, and no problems after that.

I saw this game mentioned on youtube and bought it after checking a little more into it. I am enjoying the game. It's a pretty world to explore. Characters give you things to accomplish, so it's not boring. The game is very relaxing. I had to come back and add some more. This game left me not wanting to leave it. Thank God these 6 people got together to make this wonderful game. 6 people did this!, Not including the cast! Amazing! Such a wonderfully impressive world! I will replay this many times. I loved every minute of this game.

Nice and chill but with some nice surprises here and there. A few technical issues but nothing save-ruining for me (did screw me out of a quest-related achievement, but I don't care about those).

Such a beautiful relaxing game. It is so refreshing to play an RPG with no combat. I am only a fraction though the game and I just look forward to who will be around the next corner. I'd recommend to anyone seeking a truly relaxing moment to smell the flowers (virtually). I wish there were some key hints though. Sometimes I have activated a puzzle and trying to work out what button combo will break out of the situation I have found my self in would be rather helpful.

Peaceful, relaxing and beautiful game. I struggled with having enough inspiration at one point. It wasn't until the end when I was choosing which pictures to best commemorate mother that I found out selecting one gives you a bunch of inspiration.

This is easily one of my favorite games. I did finish it, although I have 2 more achievements before I 100% it. The world is absolutely stunning and I found so many scenes breathtaking. I'm an artist in real life and there was something about being able to "paint" what I saw in the game really fun to see the art style capture specific angles I set up. I enjoyed the different characters and the exploration of the world despite it being a bit quick and short. This is a game I will enjoy playing again.

Beautiful game, that really allows for a lovely sense of discovery that I've never really experienced in a game before. Even though there are some quests to guide you, it feels like you are simply exploring Eastshade at your own pace, meeting new people and finding out secrets. Just so relaxing.

this might genuinely be my favorite game that i've ever played. the island is so, so beautiful, i took over a 100 screenshots because i thought everything was just so pretty. the music that sets in every once in a while is also just absolutely wonderful and fits the landscape so well. all of the characters had their own unique personalities and stories and i loved talking to all of them and doing their quests. they also seemingly all had their own unique voice? there is also so much to do, even cute little things like listening to a guitarist who is just camping out at the beach. and even when there was nothing to do, i also loved just walking through the beautiful scenery and enjoying the sound of wind and the sun. my only complaint would be one bug that i had a couple of times where my game would just freeze and the only thing i could do was to alt + f4 out of the game. always gave me a heart attack and made me lose a bit of progress sometimes. the game autosaves pretty frequently though and i didn't notice any other bugs. now that i've played through it, i'm actually kind of sad that the game isn't longer :( you can tell that the devs put a lot of love into this game, so i hope that they'll get the chance to make many more wonderful games. can't wait to check out their other games. thank you for making eastshade! :)

I hate to give a negative review for this game but I had terrible motion sickness while playing it. This game is very beautiful, the music is nice and the overall atmosphere is great. Too bad it didn't have more options for motion sickness. Also there are quite a lot of bugs. Sudden jumping when stuck in places made me even more dizzy
