This is probably the first time I'm writing a negative review, even though it's not exactly a BAD game. It did leave me with a bad aftertaste though. The premise is interesting and the setting quite unique, it was close to being good, but: - the game is buggy. By the end it will tell you you did something, even though you took great care NOT to do it, preventing you from getting certain endings. There is even dialogue throughout that contradict your decisions. - the dialogue is very superficial and forced, does not flow very well and seems clunkily translated. It doesn't make you care about the characters and there's too much exposition. - the deductions are not REAL deductions, and instead are more like guesswork. There are cases where even after having discovered all clues, having investigated every corner and tried to analyze the dialogue and environments, all answers are still plausible and you still lack proper evidence to make a decision. It's definitely not as thought-out as in Golden Idol or Obra Dinn. I'm aware they are completely different games, but I still wish we could one day get an RPG with this kind of deduction - they set the bar very high. - arbitrary puzzle solutions. The Fallen Hero scenario being the worst offender here (the drones and the pub, ugh!). - the plot is not presented in a clear way, the writing could be improved. - not the greatest UI. Even though the codex contains a lot of valuable information, reading it feels like a chore. I'm still going to follow the developers and I'm curious what they do next, because the game had great potential.

I didn't know I had actually purchased this game. But I came across it, one day, and thought I'd try it out. I think I might have mistakenly put this in my cart, instead of Gauntlet. The game's soundtrack is beautiful, atmospheric. Some of the art effects are pretty. I like the detecting aspect; it makes sense and is easy to follow. The story is cringey.

It's like. Sword Art Baldur's Disco. It's great, but unusual. Worth a try.

Pros: Maybe you will like this story. Interesting looks. Great mischief achievements. Great discount! ;-) Cons: Surprisingly unstable performance. Dull personas. I felt unattached to main hero.
