10/10 easy to get into cute allusions in npc's pikman without the stress of a time managment system or tediously having to maneuver combat. platformer/collector that does both well. platformers don't normally interest me anymore but i was intrigued when i saw a "diamond in the rough" review of it and decided to grab it. glad to say it was well worth it. im planning on 100%-ing it after going thru the first level

So when I first got this game, my first impression was that there was combat in this game, which spoilers there isn't, so I gotta admit the fact I kept playing should at least some indicator that it was fun. It's a pretty simple exploration and puzzle game, based off of pikmin. I enjoyed combing over an entire level for stuff, and I managed to get almost all the collectibles, and do enough of the nectar quest in all the areas. It wasn't exactly a difficult platformer, but after a bit I stopped expecting it to be, and it became pretty fun. Using the tinykin to get around in different ways than the beaten path was pretty fun for me. I think my least favorite were the blue lightning tinykin, since it was hard to get creative with those. A high point for me were the denizens of the house, with so many references to media, as well as the humor, kept giving me a smile. I tried some of the races before writing this review, and they were pretty cool too, I might reinstall to play more and try to beat them all. A chill game that was easy to get back into when I wanted, and entertaining enough for people from all ages I think. So yea, I recommend this.

I don't know how to feel... Am I supposed to feel traumatized because of the lore? Am I supposed to feel glee for completing the game and enjoying the visuals? What am I supposed to feel?! It's like a bittersweet feeling! I feel broken, but also happy at the same time! It's like a cycle of morbidity and pleasure that never ends. It's very odd... ... Anyways, 9/10 game! I recommend it to others that want a Pikmin-like experience!

I love this game. It's whimsical, and the art style is a lovely mix of 2d sprites in a 3d world. The puzzles are, generally, a pretty straight forward affair with you having to reach a place, or get a certain type and number of Tinykin to proceed. The collectables are scattered all over, and finding about 95% of them in a room is fairly easy, with the last few always proving a touch annoying. The game makes good use of household objects to build a fun and interesting world, and my only regret is that I can't experience it anew, and that there was never any DLC for this game as I would love to have more to explore. As it stands, if you like Pikmin, it's similar, but you don't tend to throw Tinykin, instead they're more to help you traverse the world, or to lay set pieces into place so you can move about more of the level. There's no combat, the focus of this game is on puzzles, platforming, and exploration. If you like cozy games, I'd say pick it up on sale, as 32.50 CAD is maybe a little bit high for a 6-10 hr game with no replay-value in my eyes. That being said, I paid full price and I regret nothing about that purchase.

Light and breezy. Reminiscent of Pikmin but more casual. Not a serious or heavy game but its an enjoyable collect-a-thon full of cute little guys.

The Good: Big and interesting open levels with a lot of cool secrets to discover, collectibles are satisfying to get, each Tinykin type brings a fun changeup to the gameplay, visuals are nice and the art style is beautiful, feels polished with very few glitches The Not-so Good: The ending feels a slight bit rushed and sudden, and I do feel like the addition of bosses would have been the cherry on top that made this game just about perfect. This is a good game, and the gameplay loop is really good. One of the better collectathons in recent years. I've played through it twice, and it is absolutely worth it to 100% this one. I really hope Tinykin 2 is a thing someday.

You'll forget this game has zero affiliation with Nintendo - this game is Nintendo quality. Shout-out to the writers. The dialogue has that Paper Mario/Psychonauts charm to it that makes the whole product feel that much more cared for.

A good collectathon game with mechanics reminiscence of Pikmin games but with completely another story and settings. The game is a little short although a very good experience, even if you consider only the main story. If you want to get all the collectables in every level you will have to search very careful every corner and hidden spots because there are a lot to look, but if very obtainable, even on first playthrough.

Listen. I know I haven't played very much, but I already love this game unconditionally. It's like the games I used to play as a kid but with none of the clunk. Being tiny in a really creative environment with charming music and cute little guys that help me do cool stuff - I'm having the time of my life. 10/10

I can't add a lot that has already been said: elementary platformer, reminiscent of/better than Pikmin (wasn't my cup of tea back in the day). That said I really dug this -- a light platformer with vibes to match the difficulty, but includes a few contents that are actually challenging to us old hats: 1) collections which despite the "get everything mentality" don't feel too many to gather (just difficult to find the last ~10 randomly with so many nooks and crannies). 2) races -- the soapbar skateboard handles a little rough but enjoyable. But the wasps that run the games are notoriously tight on the stop-clock.

11/10 !! Reminds me a lot of Toy Story 2: Buzz Lightyear to the Rescue — that same magic of running around oversized rooms, climbing furniture, and discovering secrets in everyday places. It's like being a kid again, but smoother and smarter. Pros: Feels amazing to move around — gliding, jumping, zooming Environments are packed with stuff to explore, like Toy Story 2 on steroids The Tinykin abilities are simple but super satisfying to use Great level design, no filler, just pure fun No combat, and that’s actually a win here — it's all about movement and puzzles Runs like butter Speaking of butter, Milo also moves/jumps/slides like butter.. seriously, smoooth experience. Cons: A little short if you rush (maybe I really got into it too much? but honestly still worth it)
