Have you ever played fae farm? Dreamlight valley? Coral island? If yes you’ll like this game, if no- and you like this game, you’ll like those ones too. This game is charming and has some of the most unique character designs. I really like this game. I will say there are some missed opportunities when it comes to cutscenes, the evergreen growing is the same cinematic over and over so far, and same with the withering roots retreating, and a barren empty field turning green that isn’t the actual land you just unlocked. Having a cinematic for the land you unlock can show you caves, fishing spots, scenic views even. I love the story. I also encountered a bug when unlocking the first town where you’re supposed to highlight a house to place the new people- I didn’t scroll between the inn and the house it went straight for the house didn’t register it in the tutorial, gave me the achievement for placing the person in the house and then wouldn’t let me do anything so I had to restart from the last save and make sure I scrolled through the different housing options. I had assumed since it was already on the house I needed I was fine to continue maybe I didn’t read. Easily fixable with a quick restart save.

Really nice game. Has plant tending, city building, and exploration elements, with no combat. And you can customize your own character, other villagers, and all the buildings. I found it very relaxing.

A nice relaxing game about Community Management and Experimentation. There is a story line to follow, and expansion means more rewards. Tons of fun, and definitely worth the time.

This is not just a game but a beautiful journey full of of love and joy and I strongly recommend it to those looking for a wholesome, spiritual, profound journey. If you're searching for a game for your wee one that does not contain swearing, violence, or other adult-themed features prevalent in so many games these days (ESP. those marketed to kids), this is it. Instead of coping with adversity through war and fighting, this will teach your child about how to be a thoughtful and caring steward of the earth and all of its creatures, human and otherwise. Without spoiling anything, through gorgeous artwork, a spectacular soundtrack, and meaningful story-telling, you'll also be reminded to extract resources mindfully and without recklessness and to always practice reciprocity. Instead of fear and struggle, there is nurturing (you plant seeds and grow entire miniature ecosystems on the Evertree!), exploration and discovery, hope and purposefulness, and instilling confidence and responsibility through your adolescent character. The best yet: you were raised by your father, an alchemy cauldron, and your mother, a book! :)

Disappointing after Yonder. Yonder was an open world where the adventures flowed easily depending on who/what you came upon. This game, while still beautiful, feels forced and more like a chore. Tasks quickly get repetitive. I got bored quickly and was not invested in where the story was heading. Also felt more for children than adults.

Game constantly get hardlocked and requires restarts. Constantly freezing and is unplayable. I would have loved this game and played 100s of hours if it actually worked.

Nice, cozy game. Interesting idea with the cultivation of worlds, but after a few grown worlds, it's getting a little annoying, because there is no way to speed up the tedious process. Graphics pleased the eye. Anyway, I liked it. If they make the next part, I will definitely play it.

I wanted to play a restoration game, but wow, this is very sugary! A cutesy-wootsy, snuggly-wuggly tween girl's dream come true.
