So, this isn't as good as magical girl Celes which is pretty much the gold standard for these types of games, but it's okay. This is a corruption game. That mean girl will go from innocent to being corrupted. "fun" on defeat mechanics... sort of, but while I would enjoy losing with magical girl, not so much with this game. The best gear seems to be out of reach until you no longer need it, which is disappointing. Leveling is capped at 99. Some stats can continue to build due to buffs but the benefits seem extremely small based on end game and very small damage increases. Drops appear random in that there are some special ingredients required for recipes and you have to beat bosses over and over again to luck out on a drop. I didn't feel that this game added anything new to the table. It was okay. If this is your first intro and you like that "corruption" flavor, then you may really enjoy but if you've already played magical girl... think pizza made by a pizza master vs totinos store bought pizza. Post highshool and moving out of 'rents place, it was fine, but then when get older and have money to splurge... going back can be a bit rough. If you've never had totinos, then you don't even get a nostalgic bite down memory lane so it's just... well... totinos. That's about how I felt about this game. Sure, I'll recommend it. It wasn't bad, it fed the belly, but everything it did, it did not as well.

With regards to the unpatched game, the actual censorship is hit-or-miss. Also, the entire time-management mechanic is removed for plot changes, as well as any access to the skill tree for some reason. Due to this being the dev's first game, a lot of the visuals are a little rough around the edges, especially the H-scenes. Most of the environments and plot points were pretty generic, but the vibes were honestly really good so I can't complain much. I actually really liked the way the RPG combat was done in this game, and the changes to combat during nighttime were fun and interesting. Most of the bosses required different strategies, which was nice. On the other hand, some of the increased combat complexity may have been due to me being underleveled for most of the game. Since almost no events comsume in-game time, you can pretty much clear the game in 2-3 days. Running from a fight is also guaranteed, so you can pretty much only fight the bosses if you want. The key items are also super strong, but mostly from a real-time saving perspective. The item-gathering system had random drop tables for each gathering point, which became a pain when you could hit every gathering point for multiple days in a row and not get a rare drop while you still needed five more. Bear in mind that some of the achivements / titles are VERY grindy. The H-scenes were pretty good, though I liked these a bit more than usual as I actually found the MC attractive this time around. ymmv. If you've played Magical Girl Celesphonia, this is also by the same dev! Very similar quality. I found that a lot of general gripes with this game were things that are actually not present in the above, although there were a couple quirks I would have liked to see return.

The true faith its "NOIR"; the animations are OK, gameplay its simple not much strategy just spam whatever does more DMG and that all, plenty of defeat scenes, and many other scenes, get the patch if you looking for a corruption game, if you looking for a wholesome priestess game then think again and reconsider because what you actually looking for its corrupting a priestess and this the game (-_q)
