With regards to the unpatched game, the actual censorship is hit-or-miss. Also, the entire time-management mechanic is removed for plot changes, as well as any access to the skill tree for some reason.
Due to this being the dev's first game, a lot of the visuals are a little rough around the edges, especially the H-scenes.
Most of the environments and plot points were pretty generic, but the vibes were honestly really good so I can't complain much.
I actually really liked the way the RPG combat was done in this game, and the changes to combat during nighttime were fun and interesting. Most of the bosses required different strategies, which was nice.
On the other hand, some of the increased combat complexity may have been due to me being underleveled for most of the game. Since almost no events comsume in-game time, you can pretty much clear the game in 2-3 days. Running from a fight is also guaranteed, so you can pretty much only fight the bosses if you want. The key items are also super strong, but mostly from a real-time saving perspective.
The item-gathering system had random drop tables for each gathering point, which became a pain when you could hit every gathering point for multiple days in a row and not get a rare drop while you still needed five more.
Bear in mind that some of the achivements / titles are VERY grindy.
The H-scenes were pretty good, though I liked these a bit more than usual as I actually found the MC attractive this time around. ymmv.
If you've played Magical Girl Celesphonia, this is also by the same dev! Very similar quality. I found that a lot of general gripes with this game were things that are actually not present in the above, although there were a couple quirks I would have liked to see return.
