Clearly the devs are impressed with themselves, a la Stan Marsh sniffing his farts when he bought a hybrid. The devs spent so much time and energy designing the world that they forgot to make the game enjoyable. I played this game for 0.7 hrs and all I did was run around pressing buttons to go up and down, reading books of game lore that is overly convoluted. And when I say books of overly convoluted lore, I am not exaggerating. Whoever wrote all that stuff must really love to drive their hybrid with the windows up. The devs clearly went overboard with the flashing lights, otherwise they wouldn't have to warn you that you might have a seizure playing the game. It is just too much. And what's up with the jumping? It is a platforming game and there are platforms you have to jump onto within the first hour that are a requirement to progress, yet the actual jump mechanic is wack. Its slightly delayed and there is a slight sliding motion when you land, making it difficult to time the jumps properly. I knew this game wasn't gonna work for me when the very first objective was "open the door". How do I open the door? By pushing a button on the opposite side of the screen. Smfh, if the game needs to teach you how to open a door then that is a biiig problem.

An amazing game Art: Some of the most charming spritework I've seen in a while. Music: Fits the game perfectly and adds so much to the atmosphere Gameplay: Great and fast pasted, difficult but still beatable Only problem I have is you cannot backtrack to completed kingdoms, since there are secrets there, that should really be an option. Overall great game. 8/10

Buy it on a sale not worth more than 10 bucks. Game is good. Ending isn't that great. I liked the story but again ending was pretty lame. I'm guessing that's why the reviews for this game are like fluctuate between mostly positive and very positive instead of sitting always at very positive.

I played and beat this game on my PS4-PRO. And I loved it. It does have confusing puzzles and back tracking (not to serious but it is prominant). I loved it. It's a 4/5 for sure for me. Beautiful really. I played through the whole thing with the CRT filter automatically on. (I think it should be off by default as it may deter people from the game). Not every one has a CRT. And these T.V.s we have today just DON'T help, unless of course you have a monitor, instead of a TV. Me, personally, I played it on a real CRT. I do reccommend. However, big time warning. There is no way to turn down the photosensitivity. So, unfortunately, it will make those that are interested in it will have to turn away simply of it's design.
