Souldiers

Beautiful game with interesting mechanics. As a metroidvania fan, this is among the best games I've played, and I definitely recommend this. One negative point about this game is that the checkpoints are unfairly sparse for such a huge map and enemies that surprises you from everywhere. Most of the enemies teleport across large distances. So if your health is low and you are desperately looking for a checkpoint, you cannot simply dodge them always, as they will follow and hit you. My rating : 7.5/10

Sadly I had this on my wish list for a long time, it finally went on sale so I got it for five bucks. Not worth the five bucks. Boring, repetitive, and somehow on a new gaming rig lags horrible on saves. Tried reinstalling, turning off cloud saves, updated drivers for an old game and nothing. Don't wast your time and skip this trash.

The graphics are very cute and charming, but the controls fall short when it comes to more demanding platforming sections. The wall jump, in particular, feels a bit unreliable. Overall, it's a below-average metroidvania, but there's still some fun to be had. I'm giving it a thumbs up mainly for the art style, and because I don't want to be too harsh on the developers for not quite nailing the controls. Worth picking up when it's on sale
