For the price and for the value/variety that the three new weapons add, I was more than happy to throw some extra support to the devs of one of my favorite VR games. Still happy with my purchase.
But for a paid DLC, I'd expect a bit more polish; each weapon has some aspect that feels a bit disappointing to me.

Slugger SMG
Finally we have an SMG that's actually powerful. But funny enough, it's too powerful. This weapon is highly accurate with a high fire rate and high damage and an infinite ammo pool with no reloading. It takes a long time to "overheat" and the overheat cooldown is extremely short. Overall incredibly unbalanced. That being said, it's a great weapon to have as a backup if you want insurance for when you get in a tight spot (but it makes it nearly impossible to lose). Or if you have friends that struggle to play at higher difficulty, equip them with two of these.

Wolverine Claws (Kigiri)
For a paid DLC, I'd expect to have a claw-extending animation when the claws "reload". Teleporting back into existence with no animation or sound feels pretty low quality. And the line renderers constantly drawing a trail at the tip of the claws need to be tapered to actually look like slashes rather than blocky lines; and those trails should probably be turned off when you're not moving the weapon quickly. Conceptually the prospect of becoming Wolverine is pretty much enough to justify the price of this DLC, and this weapon is so well done that it will become a permanent staple in my loadout; but that just means I'll be spending a lot of game time noticing that lack of a reload animation and those blocky trail lines.

Flail (Kusarigama)
It weirdly clips through the environment when swinging; nothing seems to restrict or stop its movement as you swing it around. This lack of physical presence in the world when swinging leaves this weapon feeling so unrealistic that it detracts from the fun of using it. You can do significant damage just by having the chain pass through enemies; I've never gotten more accidental kills than with this weapon, and completely accidental kills really aren't satisfying. This weapon is most disappointing of the added weapons, partially because of the three it's really the most interesting/different from all other weapons in the game and so it has so much potential to be a favorite of mine.
