A pure labor of love, not a very complicated game, but the way the themes came together at the end was surprisingly touching.

Can't say I was particularly endeared towards this game. A comedy adventure game lives and dies by its sense of humor, and I found the comedy in this to be pretty simplistic and at times really annoying. It didn't succeed at making me laugh with its side characters that talk fast and/or shout at you in very 90s accents. However, unlike completely disposable trash like the Darkside Detective, this game actually develops a narrative that takes itself seriously, and I found myself coming around to it in the end. The only problem: This game is Suuuper short. The puzzles are all pretty easy, and even if they weren't, the actual structure of the game is also very short. I clocked 3 hours, and I honestly think someone less patient could reasonably finish this game in time to get a refund. I honestly can't recommend it on the basis of it's not going to have much value to you unless you're into its style of comedy or you're the type of person to get extra value out of a game by achievement hunting. That all said, the dev is making a new game, and there's enough potential here that I'd be willing to check it out. I don't have any gameplay complaints (outside of a pretty annoying minigame), or technical issues, after all.
