I originally played the first 2 parts of this game many years ago now, I'm not sure why I never got to the third, but I returned to it because I remembered I thought it had a really interesting story and world, and it holds up pretty well I will say, many times the game can feel very obtuse or repetitive, keep having to go back to the same area, or investigate the same things over and over and then "oh THIS time you found something, none of the other dozen times" and that's not good, I'm not gonna try to defend that, but at the very least if you get too frustrated you can look up a guide, I do think this is one of the game's shortcomings though, despite that, I think the world and the characters are pretty compelling, you really want to learn more about it, and in all honesty, I'd be down for a full on anime based on these games, I think it's really interesting and it indulges itself in ways that mainstream anime often seems almost afraid to do I remember in my initial playthrough all those years ago, that alley at the top left between the houses in the first game I just could not seem to notice, I looked around everywhere for hours and just could not figure out what was wanted for me, little things like that can be pretty irritating if you're not a fan of RPGmaker combat and just want to dig into the world, you can also find hidden weapons in each game which will make it a breeze to get through, this isn't the intended way to play, but it's a decent accessibility option for players who are replaying the games, or just don't care for RPGmaker combat, although it's something you have to look for each game is fairly short, but I think there's a lot more value in them than a lot of bigger games out there, and it's super cheap so what have you got to lose? I would ADORE more games in this series although it's been almost a decade since this release, and it appears Miwashiba is working on a different game, whether they'll share a world is yet to be seen Miwashiba, if you see this, please know that there's a small but loyal fanbase for this game, and we'd all love more content, perhaps a longer entry into the series, and I think that all the minor shortcomings of the series can absolutely be ironed out, perhaps even a remake with bonus content, I think that within at least the first 2 games, and maybe parts of the 3rd there are some spots which could easily have a little more added to them to flesh out the world and what you can do in it, to make these places feel more real

I REALLY LOVE THIS GAME DIDN'T DISAPPOINT. LiEat may be short, but it packs a ton of heart. The story follows an odd pair that somehow becomes one of the most endearing duos I’ve come across. Honestly the concept of dragon here is so unique. (ifykyk)

Cute little RPG that's a quick, easy, and nice, especially for anime fans. Feels like a playable OVA. LiEat has 3 chapters, each of which will probably take about an hour to complete if you're exploring and reading everything. There's combat but it's very much a formality, the focus is entirely on the story and the two main characters. Beautiful art from the legendary Miwashiba, and a cozy way to spend a night!
