This is a mediocre game. There is just no other way to describe it. You'll play 3 gameplays loop. -Watch 2d uninspired scenes about people you don't really care about, with dialogue clearly influenced by B-tier Japanese writting -You'll be walking around a 2D plaform without any challenge. In zones with no identity to the point that they turn to a maze. - You'll play a classic Jrpg battle, except it's bad. With enemies with such hard resist on certain attack type, it can render your whole team useless to the point of being unfun. There are trash that literally heal off physical damage while being resistant to all magic damage except one used only by one character. This game has no redeeming quality

The writing was meh, but the thing that bothered me the most is the combat. You need an item to obtain a character's main class, which you're stuck with for the rest of the game. These are given out two at a time over several chapters. There is a class called the hunter that I picked that applies weaknesses to enemies. That character is now useless because boss characters resist all those abilities. There's an assassin class that applies status effects, which also don't effect bosses. I didn't take a chemist so most of the things the thief steals from enemies are useless. I get to a boss fight and wanted to know the stats of the boss to see if it would run out of MP for its heals that do more than my party can dish out in a round. The boss is immune to being scanned. Most enemies have elemental weaknesses that aren't obvious, so one character has an ability to show weaknesses. If you don't guess correctly, you are punished with the Focus system, so I ended up putting the toggle to show how the attack will do so I didn't have to go through that every fight. With a need to switch characters frequenty to match weaknesses, you'd think it would be easy to switch characters. You can do so on any character's turn, but it costs that character's turn. It's all very frustrating. Not sure if it's by design or by incompetance, but it's so bad that I probably won't finish this game.
