Happy to see Brazilian games on Steam… but this one? Hmm. NOPE.
I’m always glad to see Brazilian games on Steam. Not because I’m Brazilian—well, I’m naturalized, not born in… anyway. I’m happy because this is a market with almost no recognition and no consolidated industry—just the dreams of young folks who love gaming and want to create their own games. Now let’s get to the review. It’s a pretty generic beat ’em up, which reminds me of the equally generic beat ’em ups from the '90s. Since it was made by Brazilians, I assume the budget was very low—and it shows in the sound, visuals, and overall gameplay quality. What I usually enjoy in Brazilian games is the humor, but even that misses the mark here. Here’s the thing: once your game is on Steam, your audience is no longer just local—it becomes global. This game, however, leans way too hard into Brazilian culture—but at the same time, it crams in a ton of random "foreign" stuff, like American names for obviously Brazilian characters. That mix? A big, glorious, majestic mess. The gameplay is empty. You mash the same button endlessly and occasionally press special. That’s it. Way too basic. I honestly don’t understand the positive reviews—maybe it’s some mix of patriotism or just meme-fueled irony. But the quality? Extremely low. What annoyed me the most was the terrible sound quality, like they recorded everything with a ten-dollar mic from a street fair. Hearing those voice lines on loop? It’s enough to drive anyone insane. Not only do I not recommend this game, I honestly think it’s a complete waste of time. I wish the devs success in the future—but this game? Trash.
