Train Sim World® 4 Compatible: DB BR 101 Loco Add-On

TSW4 Compatible? How? it have it sinds TSW3 but when TSW4 began i moved to TSW4 and sinds then my DLC is nowher to be found. It's still in my owned content list, But i can't use it. It is a ghost DLC and thats Verry dissapointing. Also some other DLC's don't show up in free roam, or livery designer. And if i try to contact Tech support nobody answers me

Since reading a product description is a bit much for some we'll leave this at the top. YOU MUST OWN the Hauptstrecke Rhein-Ruhr route BEFORE BUYING the DB BR 101. One of the few add-ons released by DTG that's generally fault free right out the box. The DB BR101 comes in a DB red livery, two types of coach and has decent sounds. Functioning safety systems include Sifa, PZB and LZB along with a functioning AFB and these are fairly easy to set up and use. Only downsides are the lack of a driving cab coach and the route it's released on doesn't allow it's full potential. One tutorial, three scenarios, services and Journey mode chapter are included for the Hauptstrecke Rhein-Ruhr route but other additional services can be found on other routes and at time of writing include: Schnellfahrstrecke Köln Hauptstrecke Hamburg - Lübeck Nahverkehr Dresden Schnellfahrstrecke: Kassel - Würzburg Bahnstrecke Bremen - Oldenburg* *This route provides both passenger and freight services for the DB BR 101. Services are primarily intercity runs and can last anywhere from 5-25min to 30-60+min. Overall the DB BR101 is worth picking up as it makes a very welcome addition to German rollingstock.

The best passenger loco in TSW! Really love the sound of the loco, the IC coaches and the services. It also subs on Hamburg-Lübeck, Kassel-Würzburg, Bremen-Oldenburg, Dresden-Riesa and a few more.

For those who purchased this add-on and who also did not have this add-on in game after purchase, Note: To use this add-on you must have the Train Sim World 2: Hauptstrecke Rhein-Ruhr: Duisburg - Bochum route, which is sold separately. (This is written in the description of Train Sim World® 4 compatible: DB BR 101 Loco add-on) Be careful when purchasing an add-on, everything is written in the add-on description.

Great DLC, the classic IC coaches are very nostalgic, i very like this DLC. People who says that it doesnt work its becuse you [u]NEED[/u] to buy the Rhein-Ruhr DLC :)

kinda cool i just got this in a bundle with the Luzern Sursee Route. for only $15. So: 1st of all, I don't know why all of you are saying "BR 101 Not Showing UP". It does for me because i own the Hauptstrecke Rhein-Ruhr: Duisburg - Bochum Route. Witch is a requirement. Instead of Crying, you should make sure you own the required route. Also, This train is also playable on Ruhr-Sieg Nord, Nahverkehr Dresden, & Hamburg - Lübeck Route. Which is a good idea if you want more missions on those routs. However, its only playable in Timetable mode. Has 3 mission's for the required route with 70+ Timetable missions. The only thing i would say is you can not enter this train from a station platform. You need to enter it from the ground. I know, kinda dumb. But overall everything works and sounds well. This is a must-have if you like German/ non UK trans in-game. 92% recommend.

Since Train Sim World 4, the loco doesn't show up at all, it's nowhere to be found. I also know that you supposedly need Hauptstrecke Rhein-Ruhr but in Train Sim World 3, you didn't need that to use the loco. So everyone who had fun driving this actually pretty good loco is now screwed because no one wants to pay 30€ for an awful DLC just to drive a god damn loco. In other words, everyone owning this was scammed out of 14€! EDIT: After buying the Linke Rheinstrecke, the loco actually reappeared, probably because the passenger wagons are the same. So you can buy a slightly better DLC to get the loco. I'm still mad about that though.

its a good train and the design is good but its kinda hard to drive

Why doesn't the locomotive show up in the game for me???? This was one of my favourite trains to drive in TSW 3 & 2 but now I can't even drive it anymore????? It says in my library that I have it installed and everything but it just doesn't show up in the game?????

As advertised. A BR 101. Layered services on Kassel-Würzburg, Nahwerker Dresden and i belive some others. [b]HAUPTSTRECKE RHEIN RUHR REQUIRED! IF YOU DO NOT OWN HAUPTSTECKE RHEIN RUHR THIS ADDON WILL NOT WORK![/b] I highly recommend this if you like the 101 and german Intercity trains. Sounds are good and visuals are good. 8/10, pretty good.

So first of all, let's address the elephant in the room: I've had no issues using the 101 in TSW4, it seamlessly integrated on both its intended route, as well as every other German route with an awesome selection of IC services. No idea what all that mess in the other reviews is about. The locomotive itself is quite good, definitely on par with the better ones. Most of the systems work, none of that "not available" mess, only few inactive switches. Comes with a good selection of IC cars and, as I said above, services in the timetable. Sounds are amazing. I personally love tranquil driving of intercity services at late evening/early morning, and hope you get to enjoy it as well.
