No, definitely not. Pros .Spooky atmosphere .Marvelous setting .Complimenting sounds .Clear artwork/graphics/scenes .Three difficulty modes (no custom) .Mini-map with fast travel .Lockable toolbar .Collectables (hearts) .Strategy guide .Bonus chapter Cons .Story lacked both an explanation and a true resolution .Music would occasionally just disappear .Voice acting/acting from everyone but the tour guide was awful .Cursor indications weren't always accurate .Adventure play is mainly simplistic (solution in room or one to two rooms over) .Hidden object scenes are very easy (I got all three under a minute trophies when normally I might get one) .Hidden object scenes are reused (making them even easier) .Majority of mini-puzzles are very easy .Several of the mini-puzzles lacked adequate instructions .No indication when objects in correct position for possible use .Short Final words (4/10): Loved the set-up, setting and atmosphere. Started out really enjoying it. So what if it was simplistic and the acting was hilariously bad, it was fun! Then the issues started piling up and the fun stopped. Examples of specific issues: No cursor change or top bar instruction for a clearly broken blade that did need replacing. Saturn was called Jupiter in one hidden object puzzle (one of two naming mistakes in that particular puzzle) but named correctly in another. Instructions for two of the mini-puzzles still didn't make sense even after I looked up the solution in the strategy guide. The game told me I needed a hammer when I actually needed a bucket of water and a crowbar. And the list goes on. So much potential wasted!

Game-breaking glitch in the first chapter. If you pick up the item next to the sheet music before picking up the sheet music, you no longer have the option to grab it, which means you can't get past the puzzle that requires you to put the music into a machine. The in game hints will even tell you to click on it, but you won't be able to.

So this game was a pleasant surprise. The combination of a green screen effect for live action mixed with the point and click style games such as 'Riven' add to the charm of this game. If you like adventure puzzle games and creepy atmosphere this game is for you. Both my friend and I Adore this game and recommend playing it in a dark room just in time for Halloween!
