Train Sim World® 4: West Somerset Railway Route Add-On

Though older, this route still is very beautiful, with generally very good scenery, while some assets look quite dated. Trains look and drive well and are fun. Quite a lot to do and see and stock cluttered around for what the route is supposed to be. BUT: The speed limits are maddening slow, max 25mph. That could be relaxing, but makes it quite boring if the trip takes over an hour. Also, because of the steep gradients, driving this is quite challenging, I'd even say, exhausting. I regularly almost fall asleep. Do with that what you will. If that doesn't bother you, or you like nice scenery, and/or you like shunting, this is great. But be prepared.

Before the remaster, the route was nice already. Now, it's probably one of the best routes in the game. I truly recommend it and props the DTG staff which made the overhaul. The new vegetation is amazing, the new timetables are incredibly fun and the ToD4 finishes the picture.

As a player of the route before it was remastered, i always enjoyed the route, the guys behind the remaster have put the ball out on this one, highly recommended

Pros -nice little line -good senerios -fine little engines -buyable engines for it Cons -only two engines -not much to enjoy for steam enthusiasts -it doesn't come with much unlike tsc version But over all its a nice little route with some nice little engines and coach's and it's very senic and has a lot to show

The remaster is astonishing and has moved the route from bottom tier to top pretty much overnight. New lighting, foliage and scenery additions have made a huge difference. Be aware that you'll need Peak Forest for the Steam Gala timetable.

So, here we have a really nice route that has some nice details and has a nice flair to it. But the reason why I give this DLC a thumbs down is the mindnumbing way, trains are driven on this route. Nowhere more than 25mph for the whole trip, which makes me fall asleep driving this route

Best route in the game of you like a good heritage line that can run all sorts without looking out of place.

I want to express a very big gratitude for such a wonderful picturesque with beautiful nature dls, everything looks very realistic I like it very much 2x approval rating from me it's just something incredible

It literally wont let me complete the 1st beginner mission when at the end you need to couple up after stopping before a signal, but the signal never changes to allow me to pass. Is the mission bugged?

The update that this route has recently received is excellent. I hope to see more TSW1 routes be shown the same TLC

According to the information promoting this add on, it states that "The West Cornwall Local route Add-on ( Which I have ) allows for the running of Class 150 shuttles from off the map at Taunton, through Norton Fitzwarren to Bishops Lydeard." I already have this add on in Train Simulator, so bought it again to enjoy the above extension described to Taunton......................but only goes as far as Norton Fitzwarren. They have blatantly lied about this add on..............disgusting!!!!
