I have to admit that I somewhat glossed over the actual content of this DLC. I'm one of those people that skims and tosses her money at it with reckless abandon. However, [i]this time[/i], I honestly wasn't expecting much out of this set. The price seemed a little steep, but given that it was Tales and I'm a DLC crazy fashion nut, I dropped the money on it in a second. This contains a staggering amount of attachments. Of these, around 36 are unique items, and 9 are stated to be "attachments that can be acquired during normal gameplay."
[h1]Dolls[/h1]
There are tons of dolls. There's one of each of the main cast of this game, and several beloved animal companions. (Repede, Teepo, Rappig, Rollo) There are also a couple of "Turtlez" dolls and a pink cat whom is apparently Kalm Katz from Katz Korner. The emotional balloons were a pleasant surprise, and are much what you're likely expecting. "!" "..." and squiggly anger are a few of the available emote speech bubbles. Very nicely done. There's also a lovely animated-ish "noisy" emote that fits well with Edna's colorful outfits.
[h1]Hair[/h1]
With the hair attachments, a few are familiar if you tend to buy DLC for these games (mainly Xillia) such as the wavy side bang in Xillia (2?), the hime cut, and "spiky"front bangs. There are a few new ones this time around (new to me at least.) Among the front bangs, there's a new "short bang" boyish short style which I love and long sideburns which I admit I'll probably have difficulty figuring out how to use properly. For "back bangs," we have a short spiky-ish ponytail, a bun, a GIANT ponytail reminiscent of fox guy's (if you've played Zestiria), "braids" (it's actually one long braid with a ribbon), and a more modest ponytail.
[h1]Hair Bugs? I think.[/h1]
Sadly, I have found no way to edit the placement of some of the back bang hairs. I say some because a few can be resized/changed, but it seems a bit random for each character. While one can have the big ponytail edited, another may have editing it disabled. I'm not certain if this is a bug on my end or what. Also, the ponytail seems to hover in space as if repelled by Leilah's already stunningly perfect hair for some of her hairstyles. Not that I wanted to add a ponytail to her anyways, buutt....
The front bangs can (thankfully) still be edited and resized. For a few of the characters, the placement of the back hair pieces is a little off and I'd love to have been able to move it around to better suit the character. Resizing the hair was a big part of making "hair" dlc work for me.
[h1]Assorted/Other Included Items[/h1]
The angel wings are lovely, the tiara is fabulous, the white large corsage is great. The cat ears / tail / collar are great, too. I gotta say, I'll probably be shamelessly using that collar on Mikleo and Edna for the rest of the game. Mein sassy kitties. <3
As for the rest of the items, they're supposedly DLC that you could acquire through regular gameplay. I will go ahead and say that the return of a certain item was a welcome early addition to my game. I'm sure I'd still manage to miss the treasure box for them even with Navi - ...er, Mikleo hassling me about them. I included what the 9 available in-game, but included in
this DLC attachments are at the bottom if you don't care about content spoilers.
[h1]Final Verdict[/h1]
All in all, 9/10. Honestly. Astoundingly well done! I love these attachments, and I already knew I wouldn't regret my purchase. I'd love if you enabled editing and resizing and moving for [i]all[/i] of the hair pieces, so that "floating ponytail" on some of Leilah's hairs type of situation wouldn't be an issue, and just for more freedom in general. Wishful thinking.
You likely will want to look up what the items look like to determine if it's worth your own time, though. May go back and edit this when I'm less tired, but these are my general thoughts.

Elf Ears, Shiba Inu Ears, White Bunny Ears, Fluffy Rollo (surprising. It's a floating balloon Rollo wiht crinkled legs.), those emo side bangs from Xillia, Rose corsage (great for making Mikleo look even more like an anime prince bishounen! Say whaaat.), Rare Butterfly Tiara (stunning blue butterfly that sits on the head. I love this :D), top hat, square glasses.
