Ultimate Fishing® Simulator - VR DLC

I love this game. I've put more hrs into this in two weeks than I have put into any of the VR games I've owned. First off, it looks great when you are sat on the bank. The water looks very realistic. It's very relaxing listening to the wind blowing in the trees and the birds tweeting. That said, the fish bite like mad, so you can't relax too much. When fighting the fish there is a feeling of weight with the vibration of the controllers which is nice that adds the the realism. One thing I would say is the bait cost is a little out of proportion ($4 for a maggot)? There are a load of different species of fish from around the world and plenty of places to catch them. Be prepared to grind for the cash to get the better tackle you will need. I can see me putting a lot of hrs into this and the DLC which I'll definitely be getting. At time of writing my hrs played don't show because of using the VR DLC (I think) Tight lines!

The whole thing is really scuffed, spinners/similar items don't really work at all in VR and the boat controls don't really work that well. Can't even get out of the drivers seat half the time to start fishing. If you're fine with just using bait to fish from the shore then I guess go for it. Feels like it should've just been an update though.

Yes, that's a great feature ! The VR change the experience ! Great ! I think you can just increase performances and add sunlight, more light for green grass , rocks & cie. Water is great ! Add some life inside like birds, butterflies or ambience animals but stay realistic. Improve the "in water" cursor because it hide if the fish bite. Good, I'm impressive and I want to see others updates :D

Ultimate Fishing Simulator - VR (DLC) promises a deep dive into virtual angling, but falls short in execution. While boasting detailed fishing mechanics, the gameplay experience is marred by inconsistency. Certain actions lack sound, disrupting immersion. What's more, the game's VR support requires a separate DLC purchase, contrary to advertised claims. As someone with a budding interest in fishing, I find the discrepancies disheartening. Until addressed, these issues hinder what could be an enjoyable VR fishing escapade.

I just got this game and this dlc and so far the vr isnt too good and the graphics could be better but with a couple of improvements(especially the reeling) this could be great.

I've tried it, seems to only show vive controllers. Couldn't get HP reverb g2, to work. like the game but I should have bought a different version or game for VR.

Just started playing VR 1 week ago. Have noticed (only when playing VR) that the fishing rod begins to shake and finally runs away as the tension on it increases when reeling in a fish. Has caused me to lose several fish due to the line snapping as I'm unable to control it when this happens. Has anyone had this issue or seen a fix? My computer is more than enough to play the game, and I'm using the Valve Index.

The best virtual fishing experience you can get whether you are using the VR version or just the standard. 10/10
