STORY OF SEASONS: Pioneers of Olive Town - Expansion Pass

Is this DLC worth the money, from a real, honest point of view? Absolutely not. Is this DLC worth it from the perspective of having already sunk 100 hours in the game and looking for something new and fun to look at while you disassociate and become the ultimate farmer? Abso-freaking-lutely, because NOW you can become the ultimate farmer IN COSTUMES. So like, I don't know. Buy it if you like costumes and want to support the devs, but don't buy it if you're a respectable adult who is good with your money. But if you don't buy it you'll never experience the sheer joy of forgetting you installed the marriage candidate pet costumes one and then suddenly being visually accosted by a curly tailed wiggle butt of one of your potential virtual romantic partners. You do you, my friendo.

About the Expansion pass, Is it worth it? If you liked additional marriage candidates from past story of season games, then it's a straight : YES! Honestly getting this doesn't really make much of a difference since it's more just side stories and expanding your TO DATE list. Well, another might be for the scenery of the expandable places where more places means more selfies. PS the base game costumes are WAY better than the ones they give here. (Based by own self)

Do not get it. It's 100% not worth it. You're better off watching a let's play on YouTube, for free, with how much content they've provided for the price. There are three locations, with a max of 6 characters per new area. The characters either live together, are sharing a home, or, on off chance, live apart. So, a max of 3-4 buildings per island. The buildings are bunched too close together. The new island areas are not large. You can't go splurging the islands, oh no. They are tiny. There are no caves, just a minuscule area to walk and feel the nostalgia of characters you might have enjoyed from other games. Minus their actual personalities. Everyone is either visiting the isles or have moved there. Characters have no real plot like in their base games, it's not worth it. AT ALL. A blatant rip off/cash grab, speaking honestly. I got a refund before the cut off time.

It's only worth the money if you really want some extra clothing and the ability to dress up marriage candidates. I haven't reached the extra story content, but I like that it adds things I can strive to achieve and get to extend the playtime. My favorite is definitely the school uniforms and the pet costumes you can get.

if u like cute things its good !! but the content is kinda dry but its very cute n the outfits r adorable but its just for aesthetics theres not rlly much impact on the story

I mean its alright def not worth full price tho the dating options are cool and it adds 3 new areas which is cool but the zones are small and nothing to do there.

Story of Seasons: Pioneers of Olive Town on PC is a much more polished release than the Nintendo Switch version, letting players experience vastly improved performance, load times, and more.

I feel like I got my money's worth, but I do admit that this might vary from person to person. So I suggest reading up a bit more about this DLC before buying it (read the description, read reviews that go more in-depth about this game etc) and then decide if it's contents might enhance the way you play or not.
