Sing along kids: "You can grind if you want to, you can leave your friends behind. 'Cause your friends don't grind and if they don't grind (simulate needle on record screech now)...." well, then they're probably not gonna dig this campaign too much. Being one of the longest DLCs in Grav Tac history, you will fight and replace and fight some more, and replace again ad-nauseum, then re-build beat up units and send them in too until both sides are pretty well exhausted, out of ammo, out of artillery rounds, and just plain spent. You as the orchestrator will be just as spent. I'm only on Turn 24 out of 28 and have fought 59 seperate battles at 2 hour intervals and rarely have any of the engagements wrapped up early. This isn't a complaint, mind you, I'm just letting you know you WILL get your money's worth...whether you want to or not. Great map, lot of units, lot of artillery, limited visibility due to weather, difficult navigation for armor due to all the shell-holes, trenches, mines and whatever else manages to get in the way. The much vaunted German 8.8's show up, and proceed to die like everybody else. No great swaths of enemy real-esate will be taken here and if it does happen, then Stand-By for the imminent counter-attack against your now exhausted and supply strapped units to follow. Great representation of the Northern winter "see-saw" borderline attrition battles of '43. Good stuff.

One of the best DLC campaigns out there for Graviteam Tactics! In my opinion this campaign captures (atleast tries to simulate) the true desperation of the German Army during it's deployment in the Eastern Front. I'm having a blast just trying to defend the line as the Germans while the Russians give me everything they have at me as I wait for reinforcements. Definitely a recommend from me. Few action-packed screenshots down below. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1384656596 https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1384656665 https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1385586923 ( nice little touch in this one, one of the soldier is actually covering the others! ) https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1385587022

Haven't played all of Black Snow yet, but from what I can tell you, this is the biggest and most important update yet! Not only do we get snow, but we get Flak 88's! (These are the things that the community have been demanding for a long time, and the devs finally listened.) There is nothing more frightening than fighting an enemy that you cannot see, who attacks you during a blizzard. This game captures that tension perfectly. The update is also important to the other maps that came with the core game, as well. I've noticed since updating too, that the battles are WAY more intense, even on an old saved game I had before the upgrade. So, hold on to your hats, and get ready for some fast-paced fighting, ahead.

One of the largest (Perhaps the largest) additions to Mius Front in terms of the number of equipment: (10 out of 10) Pros: ✅A huge amount of heavy equipment was used (Churchills and KVs) as well as a huge number of guns per sq/km of the front. ✅In the add-on there is one mission (you can play for both sides) but 28 turns, this is one of the longest missions in the game, with many phases and the arrival of reinforcements. ✅As always, the landscape design is top-notch. ✅Several tens of hours of gameplay for a low price. Minuses: ❌Inability to disable night battles on high difficulties (If you film the walkthrough, nothing will be visible). The presence of lighting shells saves you if you play by yourself. ❌The number of trees and the technology used cause even very good computers to burn. The note: ⚡For each side, the mission is very different, the Germans have fortified positions, but they have little equipment; most of them have medium guns; they need to stop hordes of heavy tanks. For the Soviets, the game is also different, despite the fact that you have a huge number of heavy tanks, you will have to face forests, swamps, snow, mines, and well-entrenched enemy positions, tanks, and guns ambushed.

A very hard map, almost covered with forest only, a very high number of minefields/trenches/bunkers in a very large no man's land, a lot of swamps. Very complex battles.

Finally! Snow! Thinking of Russia, you think of snow. This DLC adds that to Mius Front. Great addition to a great game.

Far too many units to manage, I find the smaller actions to be much more enjoyable. But hey if larger scale battles are your thing go ahead and buy.

A nice, long campaign, well worth the price tag. A bit linear in terms of capture points tho, you're only real objective is take the middle third of the map, no farreaching operations.

Just started this campaign and damn, it is huge! Only fought two battles so far but these were some of the biggest I ever fought. Great setting and atmosphere.

Never have I ever sustained so many casualties in a campaign. I think that's how it's meant to be played though. Some of hardest fighting over fortified areas occurs in this DLC.

Long doesn't even begin to describe this operation. Almost immortal.

Black snow is very impressive. The operation is primarily in a heavily wooded environment with trenches and mines a significant factor in nearly every engagement. The snow effects add an additional layer of atmosphere onto the beautifully rendered maps. The combat is brutal and the scale of battle is epic. My personal favorite DLC for Graviteam. 10/10
