This is a nice game but don't buy the DELUXE Edition because you do not get much of anything for the extra money you put into it, they want you to buy DLC's and that is BULL when you spend extra on Deluxe game so if you truely want this game just buy the Regular game because you'll have to buy DLC's for upgrading , Just a WARING to save you money.. i do like this game for it plays well , just disappointed you don't get much for paying out for Deluxe edition..

The graphics are vastly improved. I like the auto parallel track but it doesn't always show up after I complete the first track. They changed when bonuses are paid which is OK but they never mentioned this in the tutorial. They still have St. Louis on the wrong side of the Mississippi River even though I told them about that over two years ago. They changed the US from Mi/ Hr to K/hr which is not realistic for the Americas. Even Canada did not go metric until the 1970s which is way past the end date of the game. They also added mountains where they do not exist. There are no mountains between Chicago and Indianapolis and Chicago and Rock Island.

I have been playing railroad games for a very long time. Railroading has always interested me because it was in my family as my grandfather worked the RR during WWII. Probably helped build most of the lines across the country. I have played RR Tycoon series all way up to RR Simulations and have to say this game is very addicting. If you have a type A personality, it may cause you to go full blown OCD, lol. It is hours of fun and definitely would continue to purchase DLCs and future editions. Somethings I'd like to see: 1. For specialty cars - For example- Different varieties of box cars, when most items are put in a boring red box car with a different logo, it gets kind of boring. I understand for dev reasons, this was made. But HW resources nowadays can handle the load...well mine can. lol 2. Being able to load multiple engines, longer trains. 3. Round houses, maintenance yards. 4. The ability to slap your competitors in the face, lol. 5. More aggressive AI (or smarter) 6. Stock market section could become much more part of the game, being able to short your competitors stock for example. 7. Being able to ship military supplies- RR was hugely important during WWII. In fact, it was so important RR workers did not get drafted for the war. 8. Love the co-op mode! 9. I especially like being able to zoom into the cars, and feeling like I'm riding in the cars with my passengers. 10. I hope there will be future DLCs with extended timeline into the Diesel age. Thx for a great game.
