Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor - Captain of the Watch Character Skin

This is a skin for Talion that allows him to look the way he does during the prologue mission before his death. It's a reasonably good skin however it's confusing why they decided to charge you for this because his prologue appearance is in the game you just lose it after that mission.

*Warning* Honestly do not know why they still offer the DLCs separately except to trick people who don't know to buy the GOTY upgrade that includes all of the game's DLC. None of the DLC including this one is worth buying separately when the GOTY upgrade is $9.99. None of the DLC are "great" but if you want a little more don't buy them individually. A pretty alright skin, but not worth buying by itself.

But like all skins it does not appear in cutscenes, just gameplay. It is part of the Season Pass/Premium Edition/GOTY Edition so you will get it if you bought those. Man you cant really see how much talion changes when he turns into the grave walker, but playing the game a little with this skin and then switching back, you can see that the poor guy lost his tan.

price is fair although i am against games making money off skins. its a dirty money grab and its annoying. so for the sake of combating greed thumbs down.

The add-on adds a new look to the game. It looks rather boring, as the appearance itself is a modified version of the original appearance of the main character. Nevertheless, as an addition to the season pass - not a bad option, but I would not buy it separately.

Looks great. It's like The vanilla skin + The Dark Ranger skin had a baby and this is it. I'd say it's definetly worth it's super low price . If you like the look of it then get it, simple as that.

Seeing how you cannot buy Shadow of Mordor without it being the GotY edition, which costs $5 - or $10.50 if you buy the bundle for both games, this DLC is just free bonus content for you to enjoy.

A very small addition, just an alternative skin for the protagonist. No need to buy separately, only as part of a set.

My personal favorite skin for the game. I really liked Talion's original outfit, and this skin just adds a bit to make him seem less tattered. It is only a cosmetic dlc though, so I wouldn't recommend picking it up on it's own. I got it in the steam sale with all the other dlc.

While this is just Talion's outfit before he was killed at the Black Gate at the start of the game it is nice to have it in the open world. Would have prefered it to be an unlockable, but for a dollar I can't complain to much.

this skin doesn't really change talon's appearces, it just has some extra bits on it from the orignal vanilla skin. however this skin will by default come with the game of the year version.

Would've loved for there to be a Dirhael or Hirgon skin because this one is just Talion with a full sleeve, cape, and a slight tan.

Well there aren't any negatives, It's nice, apart from the price. But I got it in the sale so all is well. I'm kind of a poet but I didn't know it.

Literally the same as the default skin with added bracers.

They need to release skins more often, other than that no negatives.
