Okay, this is going to be too detailed: Pros: 1- The game offers so many options for everything, weapons, upgrades, levels, gadgets, enemies, etc... all the time you play you constantly find new things, and if you were a perfectionist? oh boy, endless fun. 2- Graphics are smooth, environment is beautiful, music is immersive and Game play is extremely fun. 3- the A.I is SAVAGE, like, whoever designed the enemies tactics wanted to make sure you get NO free passes. Every enemy you face will not make life easy for you, for newbies, this might be an obstacle, but for hardcore Gamers: this is the place for you. Cons: 1- Navigation: While the exploration is very fun, sometimes backtracking to where you were at some point could be a nightmare. If you make a lot of progress and then die, trying to return to where you were might take a lot of time. Needless to say: this thing needs a google maps on its own. 2- No Objectives: you're just navigating, exploring or shooting. Not a single time are you told what to do or where to go, acquire an item or kill a boss. I understand this is an exploration game but some clues wouldn't kill. 3- No instant fast travel: you can't fast travel unless you go to a specific point in the map, the devs should consider the option of being able to teleport to the nearest (or last) Gateway, also make the save points next to the Gateway to make life easier for everyone. Could this game use some improvements? Absolutely. Would I recommend this game to others? ABSOLUTELY!

Was going to down vote this game as it's kinda aimless but seeing it was made by 8 people, I'll give it a pass. You just wander around from place to place collecting upgrades as you go without a real story driving you and without much variety. The powerups are fun, though they're all traversal related, and most of the enemies are tanky as hell and that doesn't really get better as you upgrade. Get it on sale. Grade: C

The game is well made technically. But the gameplay design is kind of baffling. Tbh movement is kind of floaty. The platforming might take the prize and the most annoying I've ever experienced, and I've experienced a lot. After playing for 1.5 hours I'm not actually sure what I'm supposed to be doing. I'm just going to any available route, and the whole map looks exactly the same so far. Over opened around 10 shortcuts and none of them seem to have a purpose. The enemies are really boring.

This game is a must for a metroidvania fans! (definitely those on the Metroid side of MV's anyway). Tight controls, beautiful graphics with its unique aesthetic (finally something that isn't heavily influenced by the breakout games in the genre!). Nice upgrades and collectible system. Some really cool lore for this isolated alien landscape. If you love the Metroid series, you owe it to yourself to give this one a go.

Unfortunately this metroidvania's weaknesses outweigh its strengths. On the plus side, the graphics are nice, but perhaps because of this, the biomes are look quite similar. Things feel very same-y, particularly towards the end of the game. There aren't many bosses, their designs/concepts are underwhelming, and they are quite easy. On the other hand, the regular enemies are more dangerous than in most metroidvanias, which by itself is fine, but is an issue given the game's biggest issue: it's extremely tedious to navigate the map. This game desperately needs more fast travel locations. This isn't a game where it's fun to retrace your steps, it's just a chore. There is basically no story, which isn't necessarily bad, but certainly isn't a plus.

When this game is good, it's phenomenal. However, those blips of quality occur at such an inconsistent frequency that it's easier to ascribe them to chance than design. The map is full of zig-zagging hallways that are laborious to traverse due to the complete lack of meaningful movement upgrades, upgrades are given in the form of three-piece blueprint shards that require trundling back to the hub to cache in, those blueprints have wildcards that it's possible to spend incorrectly and end up with wasted blueprints, the boss arenas are poorly telegraphed and easily missed (particularly because the game loves to hide them under crumple blocks in nondescript hallways that you have no reason to use), and the enemy variety is a small list of HP sponges that make clones of themselves when they die. It's a small list of tweaks that would make this game compelling and unique but every time I spent a half-hour aimlessly wandering trying to get a scrap of progress to no avail took a sliver of my goodwill away until I was left with grim indifference. From forum posts the devs seem aware of the problems so I'm cautiously optimistic if they give it another go, but this is a rough showing.
