I'm happy to report that after finishing all the tutorials, scenarios and a few services, I haven't encoutered any gamebreaking issues (which can't be said of at least a few other DLCs for the game), even though this is one of the oldest pieces of content in the series (the second or third route ever released for the original TSW, if memory serves).
For new players, I can recommend this route as a potential gateway drug for this series or train simulators in general. It offers a commuter train (frequent stops, sometimes frantic timetables), an express train (steady cruise, with at most one stop between the starting station and the destination) and a freight locomotive. They're all diesels, though, so the variety isn't quite ideal. The route is fairly short compared to some others, which you'll mostly notice during express services (a run during lower traffic periods can take as little as 20-25 minutes), but I don't mean it as a complaint - only extra information on what to expect from this DLC.
Also, this DLC being at its core a good few years old now, it runs quite well even on low-end machines like mine, so it's a viable option for people wanting to enjoy a decent train simulator on older or cheaper hardware.
