In this game you have two options: 1. You drop, kill 20 bots and win the game without even looking at the screen. 2. You drop, get killed by a cheater from 100m AK spray with an iron scope.

Cheater after cheater. Its sooooo bad. Aimbots, seeing through walls. Its atrocious. It makles this game practically unplayable. Its the same reason I quit years ago. Was good for a bit when I came back and now its non stop for the last 3 weeks.

I started playing PUBG back when it was still in beta—when the only thing scarier than a red zone was your squad's driving. Took a break for a few years, but recently came back and... wow, it's actually fun again. The game still gives me that "oh no, I heard footsteps and now I'm holding my breath like it helps" kind of tension. Gunplay feels solid, looting still gets my heart racing, and dropping into a hot zone still gives spicy chaos energy. It's not perfect, sometimes the matchmaking feels like it's trying to humble me but overall, PUBG has aged like slightly suspicious wine - a little unpredictable, but hits hard in the right way. Glad I came back. Chicken dinners still taste just as good. 🍗

Games almost unplayable with the amount of hackers now. It's too bad because it's the favorite among my friends. We are now looking for something else, but it's tough to find a game we all like.

How have I never written a review of PUBG? I still come back to it from time to time. It is by FAR the most tense heart pounding battle royale available and a win never feels as good in any other BR as it does in PUBG. Fantastic game. You can choose between playing purely 3rd person or purely first person which is great. i like to switch and swap though first person is a more ''pure'' experience as no one can peek around corners without exposing their heads in first person. Plenty of guns available and all feel different and take a lot of time to master. Kills feel extremely satisfying. The game does feel a bit clunky with movement but I much prefer it over the crazy fast speed of other BR games out there. (Not including Apex as that entire movement system is designed around speed and is great). PUBG sound effects are immersive and realistic. When you get shot out of nowhere it will make you jump, it will actually give you a fright. Its very tense. Love it. Apex and PUBG are king of the BR scene imo and if you prefer the more grounded realistic approach then you wont beat PUBG. Downsides are cheaters. Its hit and miss but like and BR they are an absolute scourge.

Pros Intense, High-Stakes Gunfights Every encounter in PUBG is a gamble that could end your match. The gunfights are brutal, deliberate, and incredibly rewarding when you come out on top. Whether you’re sniping from a distant ridge or trading shots in a close-quarters ambush, each fight feels meaningful and heart-pounding. “Be the Last One Standing” Gameplay with Tactical Depth Unlike faster-paced shooters with constant respawns, PUBG’s battle royale is built around survival and realism. There’s no instant reset here—death has weight. The game rewards careful positioning, smart rotations, and tactical patience rather than run-and-gun chaos. Dynamic Pacing: From Stealth to Explosive Action PUBG’s pacing is one of its greatest strengths. Matches naturally swing between long periods of tense, quiet looting and sudden, explosive firefights. This ebb and flow keeps each game feeling fresh and unpredictable. Cons Rampant Cheating Problems Cheaters have been a massive issue in PUBG for years. Despite anti-cheat updates, hackers still plague public lobbies, undermining the integrity of matches and driving many players away. Lag, Hit Registration, and Performance Issues Long-standing problems like server lag, inconsistent hit registration, and framerate drops continue to frustrate players. These issues can ruin otherwise fair fights, leaving you feeling robbed by the game’s poor netcode. Developer Priorities Feel Misplaced Instead of focusing on fixing bugs or optimizing performance, the developers have increasingly pushed cosmetics, loot boxes, and gimmicky crossover events. Many players feel that core gameplay improvements are taking a backseat to monetization.

Gameplay is good and all, Would appreciate a way to text chat with random teammates. My big problem is the lobby. After a long match, I have to literally restart the whole game. It get's stuck at the loading screen. Not even that is a sure fire solution. Sometimes just starting the game, I get stuck at initializing.... When I finally manage to get the lobby to load. Most of the time i can't switch tabs, or it takes a long time just to switch.. I don't really know how they haven't managed to fix this. Patience is running out, might just uninstall....

Been playing PUBG since 2018, starting when it was in beta on the XBOX, played it on Playstation as well, and eventually moved to PC. The cheating has just got absolutely ridiculous since this last March. I deeply love this game, but stay away from it; the cheating is just too much at this point, and I don't expect it to improve ever.

I am a great fan of pubg with 3850 hours played to this day. And I think it was a great game that got ruined by cheaters and developers by not solving this problem and by making it free to play it is even easier for cheaters to jump from one account to another. If you ever wonder about the sheer number of statistics you can ask chatgpt to tell you about officially available data on reports: by February 2020, that total had climbed to about 21.58 million banned accounts. currently weekly counts fluctuate: from ~44 k to >200 k in mass-bans. As much as the developers speak of implementing new anti-cheats, we gamers don't feel any improvements on this issue. I can only recommend for new players to skip this game at this point.

I've been playing PUBG on and off since launch, hoping each time that things have improved. But after dozens of recent matches, it's painfully clear that cheating is still out of control. In my experience, around 40% of the matches I played had at least one blatant cheater wall-hacks, aimbots, you name it. It's honestly exhausting. There's nothing more demoralizing than making it to the final circle, only to realize the last two players are obvious cheaters. And when it's happening this, it's hard to justify sticking around. Until cheating is actually handled not just talked about in patch notes it’s hard to recommend this game to anyone

revive chips in ranked play i already think nockdown is stuped. like in ranked play it shold be a more leguit game mode. -REMOVE REVIVE CHIPS AND REMOVE NOCKDOWN WHEN LAST HIT IS HEADSHOT IN RANKED PLAY. - WHEN YOU KILL WITH A HEADSHOT IT SHOLD BE INSTAKILL AND WHEN YOU KILL WITH BODDYSHOT HE SHOLD GET NOCKEDDOWEN. soon they will be no diff to PUBG and apex legends / CoD. Like why go copy failing games? you guys retarded?

Bloated, battered, and beset by cheaters. The gunplay still feels satisfyingly weighty, but nearly every other piece of PUBG: Battlegrounds creaks under years of half-measures and monetisation sprawl. Rating: 3 / 10 I slam into Erangel’s tarmac, loot a Level 2 vest, and barely have time to peek a window before a neon-suited stranger deletes me with recoil-free taps from the next compound over. That jitter of paranoia is pure PUBG, but today it’s amplified by the nagging suspicion that the lobby is half bots and half wall-hackers. Even Krafton admits the illegal-software problem has outpaced their response, promising fresh “future plans” only three weeks ago—an apology that speaks volumes about the current state of public matches. Strip away the hacks and the core still shines: ballistics remain the smartest in the genre, and the 2025 roadmap keeps trickling in neat toys—region-specific map rotations, interactive world objects and destructible terrain now spread to Taego. Yet each tweak feels like a plaster on an open wound when one unlucky gunfight can be ruined by lag spikes or a blatant aimbot. Ranked is little refuge; smaller team sizes merely concentrate the problem and inflate queue times. Progression, meanwhile, has become a maze of battle passes, g-coin bundles and limited-time crates. A passing glance at the storefront greets you with anime crossover skins priced higher than the game once cost at launch, while quality-of-life upgrades—such as improved attachment handling and clearer inventory UI—are buried under layers of pop-up ads and event banners. Newcomers often spend their first hour clearing seasonal notifications rather than learning recoil patterns. Bots were introduced to bolster shrinking lobbies, but their improved AI still stands out like cardboard targets once the circle tightens. Veteran players cite entire mid-games devoid of human contact, followed by abrupt deaths to the one real squad left standing, and the hollowness of those rounds makes the long end-game grind feel pointless. Performance has stabilised since the dire 2017 launch, yet stutters persist on older rigs, and even high-end PCs can hitch during moments of mass destruction now that more maps support dynamic terrain. Ultra-wide screens require community fixes to stop menu elements overlapping, and controller support still feels tacked-on compared with modern rivals. PUBG once defined the battle-royale thrill: a single life, a hundred strangers, and a frying pan between you and doom. In 2025 that purity survives in flashes, but it’s drowned beneath brazen cheaters, unwelcome bots and a storefront that begs louder than the lobby guns. Until Krafton’s promised anti-cheat overhaul actually bites—and the design refocuses on play over purchases—this battleground is best left to rot.

Half the people playing are using macros so they have no recoil. If you're not a cheating bum it will just annoy you. I'm no game designer but you're telling me you cant have the game recognize when they use the same god damn recoil control pattern every time? Like how are they pulling straight down and to the right/left at the same time? It seems so damn simple to catch. Make macros a ban offense if you want to fix it. Its bad enough that its free so they can make a new account. Make it annoying for them too.

Now that the servers are based in Asia Ping is 100/230 mark. No point in mentioning the stuttering and lag being just a tad too much to enjoy. Again I'm uninstalling the game. I woudn't recommend this to friends.

PUBG is a fun and intense game, especially if you enjoy tactical shooters. Matches can be unpredictable and exciting, and playing with friends adds to the experience. It’s not perfect, but it’s definitely worth trying if you like battle royale games.

This game has seriously gone downhill. Cheaters are everywhere, making it almost unplayable. Low-level players (level 0–100) eliminate you with precision like professional players, which clearly suggests unfair play. The map rotation is broken — I’ve had the same map appear 10 times in a row. Reporting cheaters is pointless; they only get a 1-day ban and return to cheating like nothing happened. Extremely disappointing. I cannot recommend this game in its current state.

When I bought the game, previous the full release, it was interesting. Occasional discussion with people that takes it to seriously in your team, but overall it was a fun game. Now, the game is fully packed with sweats and cheaters... and the few casuals and newbies to feed their ego. Can't recommend to a new player at all, unless you don't value your time or are a masochist. For casual players like me, that plays once a month at most, is a no no. Their main problem is not the cheaters (that's normal in most online games), it's the matchmaking system which is a joke. Regardless of your skills/stats, you'll be most likely put in a match against tryharders with thousands of hours that know the exact weight of every object including their character pants, or at what angle you should shot to headshot someone hundreds of meters away with the slingshot they just found in some kid's treasure stash. Even though I like the challenge in games so I can improve, it's pointless since this is a battle royale, where 80% of your time is matchmaking and preparation. If matches where quick like CS would be fine. The fix would be quite easy though. Matching people of similar stats, and then if not enough players fill it with bots. Casuals would prefer to deal with that instead of forehead web-camers.

When this game came out, it was one of the most fun and addictive games I'd ever played. I played my HEART out for a long time. Then came the hackers. I didn't play for years. I recently reinstalled it, been having a blast again! Then alas... once again came the hackers. They are in nearly every game. If you aren't playing against them, they are on your team. I will admit, it's more fun when they are on your team... but still. I gotta take a break again, because at this point, it's unplayable.

PUBG will always hold a special place in my heart. The gun mechanics, the tension of every firefight, and that adrenaline rush while pushing for the Winner Winner Chicken Dinner—it's just pure goosebumps. I still remember watching Shroud dominate the battlegrounds with insane plays—those streams were legendary and made me fall even deeper in love with the game. A timeless classic.❤️❤️❤️

I really enjoyed playing PUBG. The realistic graphics, intense firefights, and strategic gameplay kept me fully engaged. I love the thrill of surviving until the very end. It's definitely one of the best battle royale games I've ever played. The atmosphere is incredibly immersive – whether you're sneaking through the grass or fighting for your life in the final circle. Every match feels different, and teamwork really makes a difference. If you're into tactical shooters and battle royale games, PUBG is a must-play.

PUBG – chaos, laughter and a little lag in the bargain I play PUBG about three times a week and there’s always something going on! The best part is the community – jumping in with your friends, screaming in voice chat, and trying to survive the chaos together. Sometimes it works out. Sometimes… well, you know – you forget to switch to automatic mode and die embarrassingly quickly 😅 The game is really fun, but I have to admit that the lag sometimes ruins a perfect headshot or a nice flank. Will they fix it? Then it’s 5 out of 5 right away! Highly recommend to anyone who likes laughter, excitement and teamwork (and is patient with a little technical mess sometimes). Winner Winner, almost every time! 🐔🎮

Played it like a warrior on phone — thought I'd be a beast on PC too. Downloaded it (back when it cost money, mind you), played one match, got hard-carried by a random dude named 'xX_NoScopeBiryani_Xx', won a chicken dinner I didn’t earn... and uninstalled immediately like a true champion. Peak gaming. 10/10, would retire after one win again. 💀🍗

I do enjoy this game, however the inconsistency with accuracy causes me to give it a dislike. I frequently find that even if my crosshair is perfectly lined up the bullets don't hit where I aim. Or after I die, when watching the death cam I see people aiming more than 3 meters away and still knock me. Until that is resolved, or they add a level, or regional based matching system this game isn't my cup of tea.

This game is full of cheaters and Krafton allows it to happen as long as those using hacks spend good money in game. It's a shame because it's a super fun game, but the trash company that owns it and the losers that need to cheat to win ruin it.
