We Were Here Together

Felt very much like a 'We Were Here' game, unfortunately, it caused both involved a great deal of stress. Puzzles were non-intuitive, nonsensical and anti-climactic. While my partner and I are usually very good at puzzle games and escape rooms, we both ended up relying heavily on Guides to help us through some of the puzzles that were unclear on what the end goal actually was or how to go about utilising objects scattered around the place. We eventually finished the game through a compulsion to say we'd done it rather than actually enjoying it. Can't say I recommend this game to be honest.

This was a difficult decision: I was and am torn whether to recommend for or against We Were Here Together. It was overall an OK game with good co-op puzzles and all. However the solutions are the same, so replay value is low. Also in comparison to all other parts, this one is rather weak, mainly because the puzzles are SO NOT INTUITIVE. Until one knows how actually work the dynamic of the puzzles, it is so frustrating that one doesn't even want to try combinations and solve it.

If you like puzzles I would recommend this game to you 100x over its so good every puzzle feels literally impossible to do until you stop and think to yourself what you should do. Trace your steps, and ultimately unravel the mystery yourself. It gave me this wonderful sense of "Oh thank GOD that's over." everytime we finished a puzzle. Easily one of the best puzzle games ive played in my life genuinely enjoy this

Lots of technical difficulties. Both of us hit black screens of death. Lots of DC in online co-op. I had mixed troubles with mic (some mine on the new system, some the game taking over the audio and being unable to hear noises and talk at the same time on a different system before this one). The checkpoints aren't often enough to justify the fight to slog through it. It just seems too old or too buggy to continue, so we gave up.

Freaking good game! My friend and I did everything in the We Were Here series, and this one is by far the best so far! Peak gameplay, and we're looking forward to doing the last one.

Pretty solid, took 8.5 hours. Fun puzzles, plot could've been a bit better.

The game mostly disconnects, the loading times are so long, the puzzles are sometimes pointlessly convoluted, especially the spinning knights at the end. The cheaper ones had better conncetion and puzzles.

I am a huge we were here fan, but this game just fell short. the puzzles didnt feel intuitive or fun to solve, they seemed like we almost had to guess our way through them. the other games did a good job of making you feel smart for beating the puzzles, but this one kind of dissapointed me.

its good game if you have friends otherwise you're not having fun unless you play with random guy in japan who knows answers. play with friend for fun

It's a fun co-op that you and your friends should definitely try! Be ready to fight a lot if you two aint always the brightest or if one of you loves to troll haha! Overall a very nice game with a touching storyline

We Were Here Together is an atmospheric co-op puzzle game where two players must work closely together to solve puzzles and escape a mysterious castle. I love this game series, they are challenging and have a lot of content, i highly recommend if you are into co-op puzzle/escape room type puzzles. You do either need to be in the same room, have a mic, or phone or some way of communicating with the other player

So far I have played the first 3 We Were Here games and have thoroughly enjoyed my time with them, however this one was terrible. My Brother and I have really enjoyed the interesting and engaging puzzle designs of the first two games, but this one missed the mark and was incredibly frustrating. The beginning was fun and charming but as you get deeper in the puzzle become less intuitive and fun and are just aggravating. There was multiple puzzles (like the pipes, the electric current, the clock, and bannered armor stands) that did not make sense, and we had to look up the solutions and we didnt have to for any in the previous games. Or it took soooo long that the puzzle was no longer fun or engaging(like the alchemy puzzle, which was cool but took too long and the game glitched making us have to repeat the whole thing). The lack of checkpoints between puzzles was frustrating, because it caused us to replay some of these aggravating puzzles again, and instead of playing them again we would just look them up. I really enjoy this series and will continue in them, but this one bothered me and my brother so much it has soured our enjoyment. I think what you have created is really cool and i thank you for your skill and creativity and will continue to support you, but...... this one was a dud. the mineshaft puzzle and the mirrored lounge was probably our favorites. I really liked the polka music. ^v^

The puzzle diffifullty jump to almost unreasonable levels and your reward is that one of you has to die. There is probably some hidden ending where both can be saved, but they hid it with some even more ridiculous puzzle. Dont recomend. I love puzzle games, but this one made me hate them.

How did you even think of making such a complex and non -standard puzzle, I am amazed at my stupidity

Plot a bit weak, but most of the puzzles are fun.

Fun coop game, better than "We Were Here Too" and "We Were Here"
