If you have the latest version of windows 11 then do not get this game, a windows update makes you constantly desync and it ends the match, been like that for over 6 months now so dont expect it to be fixed.

Stay the F away from the Steam Version at all costs no matter what. If you have Windows 11, the game becomes completely unplayable online. "The game session has desynchronized" during EVERY SINGLE MATCH, its been like this for over a year now and these worthless scumbags are still selling the game on Steam. I have the game on Series X and have never once ran into the issue there. Asbolutely unbelievable how the devs just do NOTHING to fix this game breaking issue. Good thing Im never buying MK1 thanks to NRS's display of incompetence.

I love this game and i thought coming back would be a good thing. Unfortunate that you get this bug where you cant earn coins or level up so the krypt and player towers can even be used because you need coins. don't waste your money until this gets fixed because its really annoying playing with no reward.

Fun game but after 50 hours for some reason i just cant play online and i lost all my stuff

The latest Mortal Kombat 11 is solid and enjoyable, capturing all the familiar MK vibes with its intense fights, violence, and impressive, unique fatalities. However, the story tends to repeat itself with each rebranding. Great job on it, but please stop revisiting the concept of going back in time and altering history just to return to the MK 1 timeline every time for the sake of sales. It's time to move forward and create something new or simply let it go, as this repetition is becoming frustrating.

I really like MK11. I only played Mk on my old DSi and playing it on pc feels so..wow. The gameplay is pretty solid, combos feel great, and the story is actually really well done. I had a lot of fun with the cinematic stuff and how they wrote the characters. It took me a long time to get online mode fixed but now that it’s finally working, i’m honestly loving the game!!

Its a freaking cinema. I really loved the story all along plus the chill out animation is at grand level. Really love it. Tried all possible combination only because of its animation lol. I guess one of the best purchases of me.

Awesome game spent most of the time in this masterpiece 2 years ago. Now I'd love to replay it but after the new windows update this game got some "desyc" issue which is not allowing me to play online match. That's really frustrating. Still i would recommend it for offline play because story is good and krept lotting are all so good.

Constant desync makes online unplayable, and Netherrealm doesn't seem to care enough to fix it. Very fun towers, so it there is something to do besides online vs. You can get games with friends that run the same operating system, but if even ONE person is different in a koth match, the whole match ends in desync

I'm a newcomer to this game and dunno if this has been around but, as of 2025, every 3rd or so game online has a desynchronization window pop up which makes online fairly unplayble.

its my favourite mk game ever story is kinda okay but gameplay and graphics are amazing

Story mode is a solid work of art, the gameplay is also smooth and besides from DLC's that are a little bit annoying (not in my case since that I bought the Ultimate Edition) it totally worth's your money if you're into fighting games and you'll have a lot of fun playing it with your friends. Just don't forget to buy a good controller to play it.

Very entertaining, fun game. Good to get on sale. Fufils that iconic mortal kombat itch. The cutscenes are my main problem with the game. The entire game is structured as: Battle --> Cutscene ---> Battle ---> Cutscene x1000 This gets very tiring after a certain point. and I ended up just skipping them by the time I got to the 2nd story block.

Given a game that is 6 years old and still crashes every second match, it simply is not worth anyone's money. Buy Tekken 7 or another fighter game instead...

this game is so well made but the devs are so careless about it that they let the online system get so bad top where u get a playable match every 10 games so after you take that first loss and your sitting their for hours trying to get the next match maybe consider going to tekken or injustice

This game is Overwhelmingly Positive. It's got a cinematic single player where you get to play fights and watch a super cool, over the top action movie from hell, the future, the past, you name it. The actual mechanics are great and in-depth. The combo systems and even the frame data contributes to a game being as easy or as challenging as you wish. You can play it by instinct or really learn combos, timings, and become unbeatable. This is the epitome of what a fighting game can and should be.

First few hours: "I got this." Next few hours: gets juggled for 27 seconds straight without touching the ground. - Fighting feels smooth, visuals are crispy, and the sound design makes every hit feel personal. - The story's actually fire and I'm all for it. Would lose again. 10/10.

Honestly didn’t expect to like Mortal Kombat 11 this much, but it grew on me fast. Its the worst of the modern mortal kombats still fun the combat like always is fun just there are some things in this game that are just bad that I wont go into detail with as I dont wanna type that much.

One of the things I enjoyed most about Mk11 was how you change up special moves and tweak variations to situations in game or online.

Game itself is standard mortal kombat fare. I like the additional characters. I'm not sure if it is because the game itself is old but the server connection is horrible and if you're disconnected you don't get any rewards - which means that you need to do entire towers over again simply because the connection to the server failed. As a side note, Kronika is a boring, frustratingly difficult end boss that forces you to fight her completely differently than any other character. Combos more than 3 hits and special moves are virtually impossible to land. Would consider changing my review to positive if these two glaring issues were fixed.

Played this game a while ago on series x and it's very fun. Better than mortal kombat 1 in my opinion. either steam deck runs amazingly well. 40 FPS in animations 60 FPS in kombat. Online does not work due to anticheat but that's the only reason it has been listed as unsupported. Overall 10/10 got ultra edition for like 7.50 GBP. Edit PC works great but it does seem to have a small stuttering issue in menus when on windows. steam os is fine, no issues. PS PC is way more than powerful enough so it is a windows problem. Overall 10/10

played for 12 hours only story on medium mode and i havent even finished yet. the game is very fun and difficult but you learn as you progress through the story. the story in this game is one of the best stories ive ever played, and the fights are very interesting. this is a great game
