been enjoying the game for a 2h then storm hit in the game and everytime it thunder the game would crash my pc otherwise great game cars visually good but mechanic and physics are bad lifestock not bad the building it self is ok but could be way better best to get on sale would not pay full price for this.

Holy shit i dont know why this is so great rated , but this game is so badly optimized. 3 others friends bought it too and ran like shit . One friends Pc even overheatet . Stay away

This game is good if u like animals and farming games. There are multiple basic issues to be fixed tho. Driving is kind of a pain, collisions are somewhat unrealistic (if u hit a deer your car might flip over xD) and bugs are an issue too. When milking you can easily get stuck on things and have to restart or wait for a cow to pass by to unstuck yourself. The biggest issue for me is optimization. My pc is not a beast but it runs way heavier games a lot smoother. It has frozen multiple times with this game and only this game. On the good part, developers have added quite a few animals and as I saw theyll even add sheep which is great, I recommend if you find it on sale but optimization I think should be their first priority cause rn my pc is cooking every time I run the game and i have the graphics on medium too :/.

Bought in on sale for 5,74 euro and thought it would be a fun game to play for a little while but the bugs made it unplayable. I'd rather throw my 5,74 euro in a well and hope for luck than buy this game :D If the bugs gets fixed then it could be fun :)

Insanely laggy and poorly made, had high expectations for the game due to the pictures and video provided. I played the tutorial and as soon as I completed the tutorial, the game dropped from 70fps to 20-25fps. I even tried restarting the game and changed my settings to the lowest and it somehow got worse. Bought the game on sale and still wasn't worth the $5 I paid.

Honestly, the game has a lot of feedback issues. When you get a task, there's no indicator showing where to go or what to do. Some object triggers are buggy too — like, it took me 5 minutes to destroy a single cabinet while wrecking the house. And breaking everything piece by piece takes way too long. Still, I actually enjoyed it. It gives you a kind of freedom — the only challenge is really yourself. And co-op? That’s the cherry on top.

this is my first review on steam, I've been on here for 3 years, been a gamer for 32 years and have played just about every simulation game you can think of. I must say that this game has enough layers to it that it's worth reviewing, the creators of this game were definitely gamers themselves... play this game if you like simulation games

I can’t believe that they consider this a full release and completely finished game. It’s worse than Ark early access. The tutorial is as bare bones as it gets. The driving is incredibly clunky which would be okay except that it is an essential part of the game. It takes forever to pull out your gun, load it and shoot. Can’t drive a trailer around without it crashing into your vehicle and flipping all over the gd place if you take your finger off the W or turn the wheel. And after all that, the front of the vehicle digs into the ground and you can’t go anywhere until it digs it's front end out of the ground. And that’s EVERY TIME you take your finger off the w or move the wheel. Like wtaf. You can’t save where you are at without exiting (except for the tent which moves you ahead a day and is only at home). No fail safe when deleting main game items. And I can’t get my money back because I gave it a fair shot and it’s past the 2 hour cut off. This was a waste, even at 70% off. Here’s your friendly warning: DON'T’ THROW AWAY YOUR MONEY LIKE I DID MINE. Give it a go if they ever have a free to play weekend and you’ll know.

Unfinished and not optimized. The issue with this game is that it tries to do so many things while failing at most of them (all except chickens). The deer movements and bullet speed are ridiculous. Same goes for most other predators. Wolves can flip your car, even if it's a large car. Playing solo is almost impossible if you want more than just one industry for income. There is a lack of explanation of things like the cooler, and many other useful items is quite annoying. All that aside, the game crashes when you play it for any prolonged period of time. This is a known issue but the developers haven't done anything to fix it, yet they had time to come out with an expansion!! (wtf?) All in all, if you get this game, and see the fps drop while playing - save immediately. It will crash.

so... im disappointed with the state of the game currently. the controls are clunky at best. the building is a learning curve. dropping things in the blueprint phase of the build makes whatever you accidentally dropped unobtainable unless you destroy it.then to rub salt in the wound, you lose half of your materials just to get it. its actual bs there. i get losing materials on a build that you no longer need that is finished but to do that is crap. this game has been out far too long to still have clunky controls and poor ui. the game is in a severe need for a qol update and control overhaul. and if you drop stuff in your blueprint, either pop it outside, give all material back, or make the character able to grab the items. all i have left to say is im disappointed. had wanted this game for a while and to get it finally and have the same issues as when it was brand spankin new is wild and unfortunate. it has plenty of charm but these issues really break immersion and personally consistently has me quitting for a different game.

Rare, absolute peak piece of shit. Out of optimization, absolutely different game. Trailer was not ugly at all, but game itself... ooh, rare crap. 16 GB RAM, GeForce 3070 and i8 can easily launch STALKER 2, but not this lagging piece of shit

This game has a lot of bugs, even though it's a full release. There are also connection problems that make it really hard to join your friends. It feels like you paid for an incomplete game.

janky and makes no sense. The key it says to use to start the dang utv doesn't even work after fueling up the vehicle. couldn't get through tutorial due to that.

boring, more things to do in stardew valley and sun haven than this mess. no progressive goals or purposes after the tutorial

It was great until it started glitching like crazy. The car's wheels get stuck in the ground, I can only reverse at like 1mph, the car will hit a tiny bump and it will literally be launched in the air and thrown all around the world. Everything is also incredibly expensive so it makes it nearly impossible to advance. We get animals to make money yet the price of the food to feed them breaks the bank. It becomes more frustrating than enjoyable.

i dont ever leave reviews, but for this game i have to be completely transparent and just say that this game is very difficult to play. especially for newbies. i didnt even have a tutorial ... just splurge and spend your money on Farming Simulator this ones not even worth it.

Severe motion sickness from head bob / forced motion that cannot be turned off. When you run you kinda drift.

very good game and very addicting game once you get your ranch up and running but very slow at the start.

poorly optimized. even at its lowest settings, everything was smearing horribly and made it feel like i was on psychedelics. im sure if you have a nasa computer its alright. but i dont think its worth full price.

I like the game. Although I get motion sick if I play for to long, There's room for improvement. In my opinion, I would like to see the fallowing: There should be an inventory. You should get at least 4 planks per log. You should get a "Starter kit" out of all the wood and materials that are already on the farm that you have to delete. you should be able to use that wood, metal, other materials from the house, old windmill, crates, barrels, boxes "trash" already on the farm. Also, you should be able to loot (with reset time) the dumpsters/trashcans/ junk from in town to help. "one man's trash is another man's treasure. Also... can we obtain and use that RV at the gas station? The Gas station- should be active. You should be able to get snacks and drinks from a teller.

It's very in depth and fun. There's a learning curve, as the tutorial only covers the basics. But its fun to learn or research, and discover the hidden things in the game. Hoping they keep adding to the game as time goes on.

Hello Ranch Simulator team, I really enjoy playing your game and appreciate all the hard work you’ve put into it. However, the nighttime atmosphere is very dark and scary, which sometimes makes it hard to fully enjoy the experience. I kindly request adding more lights around the ranch and streets, and maybe some life in the town to reduce the eerie feeling. This would make the game much more welcoming and enjoyable. Thank you for your dedication and I look forward to future updates.

+ Budget friendly: i had it for free years ago, but i got the paid version hoping its a better game now. + Lot of potential to be the best(yet to consider) with existing easy to understand management style, good decent game-play and features to explore. + Single and co-op mode with sharing feature allows more fun. - Zero expectation of this game getting any better. - Game disallowing players to progress in the rebuild journey once the player achieve stable income especially once the pig farm is up and running. - Subtle and smooth with decent graphics when you start and taking a U turn once you get going. I AM UNINSTALLING THIS FOR EVER..... NEVER RECOMMEND!!!!

In the current state the game is in, I wouldn't recommend anyone playing $25 for this game. The only way you can drive a car well enough is if you use controller, BUT if you want to do anything else its best to use keyboard cause the controller mapping is awful. That's just scratching the surface for all the bugs in this game. IF the devs work on bug fixing and QOL before adding anything else, I may change my review. As it stands the only way to progress or really do anything after the tutorial is by loading up the wiki, because the tutorial ends after you demolish the old house. There is definitely a good game here, but in the state it's in, it's not worth the price

My utv is possessed by a demon and when I drive it it tries to drag me into hell front wheels first. Mandatory headbob? blech. It also makes it difficult to drive the already difficult to drive utv.

not worth it they care more about making money from their DLC than rather spend time to make a good game i recommend going to itch.io and look up farming games there are probably better games for 25$ less i wish i did that one of the biggest wastes of time and money youll get

Sometimes when I play with my friend, problems occur in the game, for example, suddenly I cannot drive the car, or suddenly I cannot carry cheese in the game, or if I exit and put the code of the server we are playing on, a black screen opens for me and it tells me I am connecting and returns me to the main page

this game is so bad, can't connect with friend, if you want to play with friends, i suggest you to play another game

Ranch Simulator was a weird experience for me. I usually know exactly the games I would enjoy, and after seeing this game being played I thought it was one. Minute one, though, I hated it. Janky is an understatement; the physics in this game are wild and it makes the primary task(s), Tetris stacking goods into vehicles and then driving them between points A and B, miserable. There also, arguably, are not a lot of mechanics at all much less with depth: no real seasons, limited animals, no processing of wild meat, etc. etc. Yet, it is strangely addictive. After attaching a small trailer to the beginner UTV and getting slung all over the road I thought I was done, but next thing I know I was building a house and barn and seven hours had passed. Could it be better? Absolutely. Should it be? Arguably. But it is fun, even solo, and that is what matters most.

This game is really fun the only hard thing I have found is the build mode does not have snap function and so it is hard to get the fences straight.

Game is pretty fun, does have a few bugs and all but if you enjoy laid back farming games where you'll spend hours just sinking into it then this is your game.

I want to love this game just for cozy / relaxing purpose. but the bugs ruin it. Your animals will die so often not because they are starving, thirsty, or being attacked by the wild animals, but they are killed by system bug. just imagine how horrible it is to see your animals dead after spending time and money to buy and raise them.

the game is so good but there is some glitch like when you hit rock the car will fly away and the pig,cow,chicken and goat dont want to eat and die but the game still very joy

Das Game wäre für eine neutrale Wertung das perfekte Spiel. Das Early und Mid-Game ist schon echt funny, wenn es auch teilweise echt clunky ist. Das fängt beim Autofahren an, geht weiter über die "Wirtschaft" im Game und dahin wie der Charakter sich bewegt. Bis zum Midgame hat das Spiel zu 2. aber dennoch Spaß gemacht. Als es dann darum ging alle Achivements zu sammeln, wurde auf masse ausgebaut. Allerdings schafft das Game es nicht mit einer mittelgroßen Farm mitzukommen. Das Spiel wurde einfach unspielbar. Der Spiel-Tägliche Geldoutput lag bei gerademal um die 20.000$ als das Spiel komplett versackt ist. Da das letzte Achievement bedeutet, dass man 1 Mio einnehmen muss, würde das wirklich tagelang dauern. Das Endgame war schon wirklich ätzend. Zusammenfassend: nebenbei ganz funny, aber wer Lust auf eine gute Simulation hat mit gescheitem Endgame, sollte das Spiel nicht kaufen

great game to play with friends sad killing animals but awesome game

There are some things that I wish were a little easier, but overall it's good. I'd like to be able to order and have deliveries of different products. Or be able to carry more at a time. Building is mostly good, but can be a little difficult if you have a slower pc/laptop just because it can get too laggy to place items easily.

I really like the game. But it is a nightmare to steer the car. When i have to drive the car i am more in the bushes than on the road. Specially when a trailer is conneted. The car is very difficult to steer, not smooth at all. For the rest it is a good game. there is a lot to do. When using an xbox controller driving is a bit better, but it is still a big fustrating part of the game.

Needs LOTS OF WORK. Mod compatibility (Not hard to add Rookies), Better optimization, Better default graphics, More Cars (Dully's, trucks, semi's, etc), More mower's, Weed eater's, buildings, Garages, etc... I give the game a 3/10 as it looks like a Child made this game.

Unplayable right now, buggy, really poorly optimised, turning the Motion Blur setting to off seems to do nothing as it's got more motion blur than any other game i've ever tried to play which makes me feel sick and strains the eyes badly. Controls are wonky and slow to respond, for example when driving it's almost impossible to control so you'd be better off running everywhere, if it weren't for the motion blur making that impossible to do without wanting to throw up. Audio from the radio was non-existent, camera is 3rd person with no option for 1st person, while you can switch shoulder it's not ideal when trying to traverse inside buildings. Speaking of which, design seems very bad as there isn't even enough space in some places. Right now, I can't recommend this game, I literally can't even get through the tutorial section because it's so bad. The fact that it's in this state and was released back in 2023, does not suggest that basic problems will ever be resolved, and considering they're charging £15 for a DLC it makes me think it's just a shoddy project from someone who isn't actually very capable, especially as the content all appears to be from asset packs you can get fairly cheap. Hopefully they'll sort it out, but being honest the chances are at this point if they haven't yet then they wont.

I love this game! This game is the sole reason I got a new laptop so I could play it. Recommendations I would like to see would be seasonal weather with impacts to animals/crops that you have to manage, and a more varied selection of seeds to plant.

Buy it on sale. I purchased this game for $5 and it's still barely worth that. Maybe worth $3, but buying a couple of burritos at Taco Bell might be better worth your time. Game crashed on me twice. If your game is going to be poorly optimized, at least give me the option to quick save the game at-will, so I don't lose time on an already grindy game. Items on occasion get stuck on the back of your rig and can't be removed unless you sell/resell them for less than you bought them for. Granted I have an RTX 3060 but I am getting 40-50 FPS at medium settings. Why? There are 15 trees and some grass. Get your **** together and optimize this game. Side quests are boring and hunting is really lackluster. The animals move with worse animations than the Cabela's Dangerous Hunts in 2003. What really sold it for me was the $15 DLC for a few vehicles locked behind that paywall and a seemingly useless and barren map. Don't be scumbags.

I want to start by saying I recommend this, but only if you can get it for less than $10. I snagged this for about $5. It's fun, but it feels like an EA game in that there is very little content overall. I would have liked to see more decoration items and more building tools. That aside, it's fun if you go in with the expectation that you'll be playing for a fairly short amount of time.

Very bare bones. Bought while on discount for $5, if it stays that price then I guess it's fine as long as they add more features like the road map states. If implemented well and more updates are to come I could see it being a fun $20 proxy to Farming Simulator.

I was very disappointed that after I finally bought the game, I was unable to play due to all the lag and glitches. I ended up requesting a refund and got my money back, but I'm glad I didn't spend much since I waited until it was on sale.

the game was fun at first then all these bugs happened time to uninstall all my animals got stuck didn't eat so died the driving is stupid.
