its fun until you don't know where to go and its a pain to go trough a long route because you missclicked the wrong way for the tunnel so unless you like games with pretty hard puzzle I persenally don't recomend it

Damn. It starts off as a rather ordinary Metroidvania, but then you realize how creative it is. The fast travel system is brilliant and unique. The way the game teaches you about new capabilities is so elegant. How it makes a point to not do standard weapons and capabilities and comes up with novel ideas that change the game and combat. How the game makes you recognize there's a problem here and there's no other way than figuring out a solution - you must have the tools so figure it out yourself. I really recommend playing Moonlight Pulse, and I look forward to more games from this developer! Edit: screw that spider part, no reason to make the player redo everything and waste 20 minutes..

I honestly loved this game. It's a concept I've never seen before (being inside a living organism and keeping it alive), where your actions have a direct effect on the health of the 'world'. The gameplay is fun, having a good hook to keep me invested. The way the characters come upon their new abilities is kinda cheesy, but it works. Highly recommended hidden gem, my only real complaints are it's too short
especially the part on Bvieresque. I feel like that part of the game could be greatly expanded on, maybe a sequel where the heros try to eliminate the infection on that world(please!)?
, and the circulatory system/fast travel isn't actually circulatory..if you get stuck going to one section, it's a looong manual trek back to the top of the map. Additionally, having names, POIs, etc. on the map would be a nice quality of life improvement. There's also a *lot* of free space left over in the inventory once everything is acquired, which leads me to believe that there was a lot cut from the final version of the game. Overall this was a lot of fun, and I'll probably play through it a couple times, despite having gotten pretty much everything the first time around. I really look forward to a sequel, dev!

Brief yet very satisfying. A hidden gem of a metroidvania.
