Game is fun, But is super easy to get lost. Without map, mini map is hard for me to not walking around in the circle. This is my only complaining about this game.

First of all, I've loved and played many Soul-like games like Dark Souls 3, Elden Ring, AI Limit, Mortal Shell, Lord of the Fallen, etc. I enjoyed them all, even Lord of the Fallen, which isn't a favorite among players, even for me. Just to say, I generally play more that 2h and don't waste my time criticizing or making review (what I didn't do here for all this). Pros: - The game is visually beautiful and the main character is well colored and detailed. Mids: - The game seems cheap at first, but I changed my mind after trying it. - The skill tree comes with a significant penalty for most major bonuses, which isn't necessarily bad for balance, but it discourages you from using them too much in my opinion (you literally lose potion capacity for example). It might be worth, but I haven't really tested it enough, so I'd rather just mention it. Bads: - The gameplay is slow and doesn't memorize your inputs, so you have to spam between attacks to maybe avoid. - The hitboxes are unpredictable, and you're stunned for a very long time by the slightest hit, which slows down the fight even more. You have the play saflty, far of contact and forgot about strafing or using the jump to avoid anything. - From what I could see, weapons seem to have a defined moveset per type (Sword/Shield, Spear, Dagger, etc.) and only improve their stats when you find a new one (at least there is some combo between them). - Chests don't give anything but shards. I don't even know what they're for, but it's so unrewarding that I had stop after opening three "empty" chests (you might be able to get something else if you insist or maybe shards are cool, I don't know to be honest). - The game is very linear, with a lot of non-optional dialogues (too much for a Souls-like, according to me), and cutscenes can't be skipped (thankfully, you don't have to replay the ones you've already seen). - Enemies have one or two different moves, and you'll see a third for bosses if you're patient and lucky. In conclusion, the game isn't necessarily bad, but may not be appreciable for the gamers who usually like Soul-like gender. It's more like a Kena: Bridge of Spirits (which I didn't liked too now that I mention it) that a Dark Soul in comparison. I don't hate the light style, they just have a gameplay that is poorly adapted for a challenging difficulty in my opinion.

Originally wanted to thumb it up. The combat is above average. There are worse games to play but do the disconnected story and piss-poor final boss fight justify a thumbs up?

Game mechanics are good, quest mechanics are not. No map, journal is lackluster, and game isn't popular enough for a decent guide.

I was just running around in circles to find my way about 95% of the game time. I never played a game before, without a map or a location indicator. This game is just not for me.

I like it, my computer just can't run it, need to upgrade my GPU probably.
