- Mom, I want Ultrakill!!! - We have Ultrakill at home, honey. I mean seriously, this is basicly just Ultrakill, but with less weapon swapping. And with ~meh soundtrack and guns. The main problem I have with this game is not having a unique music for each level. Levels themselves are bland and basicly the same, but having a repeated songs on top of that makes the whole run feel like you are stuck on the same level over and over again. Also, if you do not make your own mixtape (or find one premade) - you have to manually switch songs or be stuck with the same looping song. Another problem is lack of enemy variety. It's just dudes, flying eyes and sentries. Maybe there will be more after I will beat the "campaign", but so far it's not interesting to fight them. Same as beating the rooms: they are small-ish, with enemies slowly spawning in waves. This just slows the pace of the game down for no real reason. Lastly, the Ultrakill comparison. I do not like the "combo" games. They are rewarding if you know what you are doing, but I personally just do not want to learn the "push barrel into enemy while running on a wall to then do a 360 and then shoot him in a head with a charged parry strike to get 30 COOL POINTS!!!". Game is beatable with minimum combos and a single gun, but it's boring. If you are looking for a good rythm shooter - play BPM: Bullets Per Minute or Metal: Hellsinger. Robobeat is just not it.

Game makes you feel locked into the rhythm of slow and not very fun music. Allows for too many windows between beats to take damage when you could have been unloading on them.
