Endzone - A World Apart

If you enjoyed Banished then this is for you. Endzone is better balanced, the housing AI works and its actually possible to hit a stable population. Can't say I prefer the dingy post apocalypse art style but thats not what i play this type of game for! For those of you who didn't play Banished, Endzone is survival meets city builder/resource management game on the 'serious' end of the casual/hardcore gamer scale. Endzone is easy enough for a veteran of the genre, not too difficult for a sim/tycoon/city builder enthusiast but punishing for anyone new to this style of game. [u]If you are after a cozy sim style difficulty or afk play this is not for you[/u] - I add this as most of the negative reviews I've seen complain about difficulty/learning curve. The game will be challenging to most people but it is not the most difficult game of its type and i don't think its accurate to call it too hard, its just not a game style for everyone. I enjoyed the scenarios however I feel they could of been a bit harder as only one was difficult enough that i didn't complete it first try. They could of been a little more variety there too if i'm totally honest. All in all well worth a play if you already enjoy this style game

The game has a cool concept but the CONSTANT need to assign workers to different tasks becomes very micro intensive. Not to mention the game has a grainy look to it which makes it hard to visually distinguish between different structures, especially when your colony gets large. 5/10

I absolutely fell in love with this game, i love the build and resource set up they have. the mechanics takes a few to get use to but once you got it the game pretty much comes together quite well. I hope part 2 is as good as 1 but we will find out shortly as i bought that one also. I just like taking my time to get everything i can from the game before moving on. i totally would recommend this game to anyone whose into these types of games for certain.

I had some serious hopes for this game, but alas, it is basically just "Banished" but with a Fallout theme. Nothing really wrong with that, but I already played Banished, and this new skin doesn't really innovate the game for me.

This game looks amazing on the surface but game play is very slow I've really tried cause I'm kinda stubborn but the pacing was slow for me. I love the concept and everything it just really doesn't take off for me.

I'm not a huge fan of the genre, but I was Instantly hooked on this wonderful post-apocalyptic city builder. Pro Tip: do the tutorial first, there is no way in heck I would have known how to play the game otherwise. The music is sublime!

Save your money and time... and instead of Endzone, do yourself a favor and play SURVIVING THE AFTERMATH instead.

I wanted to like this game but there is one massive flaw that puts me off. Population control is a nightmare. They should of made it that people only reproduce till the housing has filled up. But people are going at it like crazy and their kids (when grown up) are thrown out the house and wander around homeless and they (parents) start breeding further again making new "soon to be homeless" people when the kids are grown up. Then you have mass extinction as well when people of the same age all start dying. The rest of the game is rather enjoyable but the population skyrockets then plummets continuously making resource management another nightmare
