Glass Masquerade 2: Illusions - Temptations Puzzle Pack

Fans of the GM series rejoice, as there are some lovely ladies keeping us company in this DLC. The puzzle 'riddle' tradition is broken, as you have the gals speak to you directly when you finish their puzzles. Whether you choose to trust their words is of course up to you... Either way, prepare to meet some monstrous ladies from folklore near and far. And don't be too distracted by their charms, or you'll never finish those puzzles! Which, thankfully, also have some different shapes, bringing back something the basegame with its circle-only puzzles lacked. The demo puzzle for this DLC is the only one you need for achievements.

I'm always super excited about DLC for Glass Masquerade or Glass Masquerade 2. This time we got one for second part. AND I LOVE IT. Devs kept their promise - we didn't get circle-shaped puzzles this time so it's nice refreshment for GM2. And puzzles itself are nice designed. I really like the theme. There's also FREE demo puzzle. I also hope that Devs will keep the tradition and they will add achievement for solving this one (and it's always for FREE puzzle, so no worries for these who don't want to buy it). The DLC is fine, I burned through it all for both Easy and Hard difficulty really fast, wait till the DLC is on sale. otherwise, it still really visually unique puzzles, and very simple none the less.

All puzzles look beautiful and offer a nice challenge and great variety. A must get if you loved the base game and want more of it. I think all three DLC's are worth it, but this one has got to be my favorite!

Both DLCs are improvement over the original content, both in terms of visual representation and difficulty, and has the same feeling of the first game which I loved it.

I really liked the DLC. The 9 puzzles are a good addition to the main game. The price is generous for the amount of extra content. The puzzles are quite easy but the images are lovely and thematically different form those of the main game or the other DLC. I also really like that the frame-shapes varied.

Nine new puzzles with monster girls in the least viable sense of the word. They all are mostly human with only superficial details of respective monsters.

These puzzles are quite different from the base game. I found them more enjoyable overall. There is a clearer sense of colors and shapes that make them feel more logical to fit together. Unlike the base game these are less surreal so the designs can be understood while fitting in the pieces (in the base game I found that I had no idea what it was till the last piece). These puzzles are all Monster Girl Pinups, an idea I find hilarious. They all look good with a good variety of ideas, in both content and puzzle shapes. My only complaint is that the puzzles are all in the medium piece count range. I would have preferred harder, higher piece counts. But this is a minor complaint, really. I usually play this game to relax and I don't really care that much. For the price this DLC is great and I highly recommend it.

Really glad I got this expansion pack, it was nice to have overall puzzles shapes other than just circles again (like the original game). While the theme of skanky chicks isn't really my thing, it wasn't so badly done or overly tacky that it was undesirable to play through. The images are much easier to see than those in the original game, the lead lighting is lighter and the textures in the glass is clearer and the overall puzzle was more enjoyable as a result. Definitely worth getting if you burnt out on the main pack.

GlaMs is always an instant buy for me. Also, I like the pin-up aesthetic, so win-win. And the price for these games and their DLC is always fair.

The message of the year cannot be played, I bought the game a long time ago.. And i used the update and ended up paying another 2.29 and the last key still does not work.. It was a good game but i did not appreciate the fact written under neath puzzle. This was the one about the religion, i found it to be offensive..

Good, cheap DLC that adds more variety in puzzle shape that the base game needed.

I already reviewed the base game, it's great. Glass Masquerade 2: Illusions is just perfect. It improved upon the first game quite a lot. The visuals are once again: Simply beautiful. And it really just feels satisfying to play this. Even the DLC's are once again worth a buy. Truly a perfect sequel in every single aspect. You can get 9 additional puzzles in this DLC. That was a somewhat big playtime booster. And therefore it's definitely, really worth it. Onyx Lute created a truly fantastic sequel. I do have to give this DLC a positive review. For such a low price: It's definitely worth it.

Onyx Lute continues their beautiful series with Masquerade 2: Illusions - Temptations. The high quality artwork is what fans expect, and once again has been delivered, accompanied by a soundtrack that transports the player into the more spacial realms of one's brain which is perfect for the tasks at hand. How can a review of any of the Masquerade puzzles not mention the thought provoking and mysterious quotations throughout the game? They harken back to philosophers like Ibn Arabi and others and leave us wanting more. . .

About 8 new tematic puzzles, good to extend the experience for a couple of days or so.

I gave the base game a reluctant thumbs down for it's often confusing images. This DLC for me is a big step in the right direction. The images are beautiful and a joy to work on. Well worth the price of only $2!

I like the base game, and this was more of the same kind of puzzles. No twists, just some beautiful puzzles, worth the price.

I greatly enjoy these puzzles - Glass Illusions 1 and 2. The images in this DLC are spooky without being too dark. The teaser in the puzzle titles, like 'she who can bite' was also a nice touch, inviting the player to guess what the image could be. Thanks for even more time spent with this great game, Onyx Lute My stats show 0 hrs on record for the DLC. Playing through on hard (without doing them on easy first) looks like it took between 30 mins for the easier puzzles, to an hour for the hardest (63 pieces). Definitely value for money for this DLC.

You want to complete Glass Masquerade with all Steam Achievements? Get this DLC extension along with all the others associated with that game.

This is, what I loved about GM1 and was missing in Gm2. Definitely worth it! 9 Beautiful levels.
