for the 15 minutes ive played so far while skipping the story, I found myself absolutely shocked to see the option to add 5 coals on an hmd with presumably red tobacco???. Too much heat makes for a bad experience if you want a stornger punch use a dark tobacco not that arabic excuse for a leaf and with stronger tobacco there should be the option of different bowls not basic phunnels but killers or trads maybe with the option of being glazed or unglazed for retaining the flavour for returning customers. Only hmds and the cheap chinese ones leaves much much room to be desired for flexibility even when other heating i even say better systems exist like my beloved fumant hms which makes me proud of being bulgarian!!! I am shook that the girl i play as did not consider the basics of a good hookah but HAD THE AUDACITY went as to mix her own spices??? unforgivable mistake for an activity so old and profound >:( if i had 14 days to make a hookah shop by the 7th sheikhs and russians would come beging me for the masterclass that i would create! AN INSULT TO THE EVERCHANGING TRADITION!!!

I picked this up on sale for less than full price, and honestly? It was worth it. The game runs about 10 hours total—I unlocked every achievement in that time—but I did start to feel the repetition creeping in near the end. That said, Hookah Haze is a solid visual novel with more depth than I expected. It explores some raw and relatable struggles, especially the messy reality of being in your twenties—navigating heartbreak, identity, burnout, and yes, even coming to terms with death. It’s heavy at times, but grounded in emotional honesty. What really sold me, though? The art and music. That dreamy, vaporwave-kawaii aesthetic? Chef’s kiss. The soundtrack sets the mood perfectly, and the visuals are just… addictive. I could stare at the UI forever. Overall, if you’re into cozy chaos with a side of existential dread—and want something visually stunning—this one’s worth a shot.

i enjoyed playing this game so much, all of the characters grew on me but I think Amu is my favorite. The art for this game was amazing and I hope to find more games similar to this <3

Anyone who says this isn't an amazing game is A Neanderthal and doesn't understand peak aesthetics and game design. its hard to believe those people actually graduated... well they probably didn't soo you get my point, any bad review is just a dogshit take from a post covid weeb.

I haven't finished it yet but I enjoy it! so far. I love colour pallet, character design and music in the game. It's really cool how you can see the reflection of the girls mental state and their problems in their outfits. And they're all soooooo cute! The story is slow but enchanting. I would definitely recommend it to my friends ^-^ .

The 3 heroines are very cute, and while the plot is simple, it’s still enjoyable. The art and music are both well done. Overall, it’s a solid 7/10 visual novel—just don’t go in expecting too much. The playtime feels a bit too short, and [spoiler]maybe it’s just me, but I kind of dislike that it lacks a true romance element[/spoiler].
