Paquerette Down the Bunburrows

a bun! bnnuy! fluffy bunbun! it's a puzzle game, very simple premise: bunnies always avoid dead ends and always run away from you. corner them and catch them. over the course of the game, you'll gain access to a few tools to help you do just that: traps to set, pickaxes to dig new paths, delicious carrots, etc etc. my enjoyment of this game was checkmark-shaped. as I got through further areas, it started to feel like a slog, difficult and slow-going and frustrating. but then I discovered *that*. when you discover *that*, the game completely changes. no spoilers, but it will be obvious because it will instantly change the way you think about every puzzle in the game. this game has crazy hidden mechanics, and they're the source of the vast majority of the entertainment in the game. It's been a year and a half since the last major update, so the game seems dead unfortunately, but what's there easily justifies buying on sale. my time represents the time to solving the pilgrimage, the last major puzzle in the game. I was satisfied with that and did not feel the urge to 100%.

Bunnies are smart, lots of bunnies, lots of babies, also great puzzle game, all the levels are extremely well made with a lot of thought put behind them, absolutely worth the cost. also bunnies lots of bunnies so many bunnies so many babies

BUN/10! This game is amazing! The tools provided for completionists are appreciated. Get it if you like grid puzzlers like Baba, Stephen, Patrick, Country Tune etc.

There's many depths here to dig into like a giant bunberg. Just a few examples: at the tippy top is the basic catch the bunnies but then there's breaking the rules; making more bunnies; cheesing puzzles; breaking more rules; returning to tough puzzles to do them right; making a pilgrimage to the depths of hell to repent for your sins and finding elevators in strange places!
