It starts as fun and relaxing game probably within first 100 aircraft. Then it becomes fast, stressed and frustrating experience even on normal difficulty... I can get to like 150-250 aircraft on average in every map, but then it is a mess and there are so many aircraft that usually my game ends because some aircraft did not took off in time. Because I'm taking care of all air traffic I quite often cant get in time to the ground traffic. The normal difficulty feels too much. :/
Also every airport feel more or less the same no matter the complexity. Only thing which determines the difficulty outside airport layout is the number of traffic you already handled. It does not matter if it is small, medium or large airport. With over 100 aircraft handled you will get incredible amount of traffic.
As you progress and handle more aircraft like 100 or 200 the game is basically unplayable, because you have so many landings that you cant even take off and deperatures are stacking so fast. Which idiot also put these departures into the mix? The game is difficult as it is and while handling all the traffic and you have aircraft landing each 5 seconds how are you supposed to release some 4-6 aircraft wating for departure? When you depart one aircraft another spawns right away until the timer expires and game over. This is so frustrating experience that I cant believe it. Timer expiration on departures should be penalised differently - maybe minus score or same logic like if you violate the orange area. Most of the times I fail, because I have so many aircraft landing on 2-3 runways that I cant even place the departure aircraft on the runway and game over. The timer for departures should by much higher OMG.
Also another stupid game design how the game sends new aircraft on purpose into collision course with other traffic you already manage by using waypoint system.
